Bottom-Line: The HP Compaq dc5000 (Micro Tower) Business Desktop is powerful business class work station that is more then adequate for our secondary computing needs.

im 46 years old and i have had my compaq presario 5000 series for 5 years and its great.it runs fast and it doesnt get viruses easy like other computers do.when i first got it,it had very little memory and a small hard drive.i upgraded everything on the computer,from the memory to the hard drive and i put a dvd-rom and i also put a dvd-rw in it.and it still runs like the day i bought it.i bought new speakers to go with it and also a new monitor which really works good.its also easy to open and change things around cause there is alot of room,and the drives are easy to replace and so is the memory.i slo have another computer as a backup but i dont really use it that much.i have it downstairs and my compaq upstairs in my room,because thats where im always at,so i dont have to bothered when im online.i have 5 computers in my house and 2 of them are compaq presarios and i wouldnt change them for nothing.they are the best qualiy computer i invested in.

I have used the compaq presario computer for years. Actually, my first computer was a compaq presario 2000 if I remember. The best thing about the compaq presario computers, is that it has multiple USB ports. Now a days, everything is pluged into a USB (prnters, scanners, cameras, everything you can think of goes into the USB port. That is why having alot of USB port is a great addition. My first computer was a compaq presario with windows 98. I nevr ha any problems with it until it was past it's age. They say that the life time of a computer is five years. I use my Compaq desktop computer eveyday for keeping personal files, such as bills, banking,  and so forth.  I also use this computer for my business K & J Lawn & Garden in Cobden Il.  Plus I use it for fun such as playing games, emails, facebok and much more.

This flat screen compaq is space friendly, easy to see, compatable for multi purpose printer. The printer I have hooked to mine is a Canon, printer, scanner, fax and copier. Extra run on this easily such as speakers, and mics.  Storage is excellant on this Compaq.

I am so glad that I invested the money on this brand of desktop compared to cheaper laptops with less storage less rom for extra attachments

I USE THIS PC FOR A HOME MUSIC PRODUCTION STUDIO & IT WORKS GREAT! IT HANDLES ALL THE HEAVY LOADS WHICH I PUT TO IT & DIDN'T HAVE TO BE UPGRADED EXCEPT EXTRA RAM. THE DVD/CD WRITER WHITH LIGHTSCRIBE IS ONE OF THE NICE FEATURES IT HAS, ALONG WITH MASSIVE STORAGE & EASY ACCESS TO THE USB PORTS/CARD READERS. I'VE PUT IT TO THE TEST & IT PASSED!
