Community Coffee New Orleans Blend is the reason my friends always look forward to coming over for coffee. It's what drags me out of bed at 7:30 every morning. It's the coffee that makes people ask me, "What kind of coffee is this?" It's fantastic!

Community Coffee New Orleans Blend has long been a staple of my morning routine. I brew the coffee double-strength (two tablespoons per six ounces of water instead of one tablespoon per six ounces) while I heat up milk. The milk is best heated on the stove, but the microwave will do as well. I mix the coffee with the milk until the coffee shows an orange undertone. That's when I know it's ready.

The first sip is bold (from the double-strength brewing) and smooth (from the milk). But it's the chicory that makes the New Orleans Blend so special; it offers a fullness that, no matter how many years I've been drinking it, is still a little surprising every time.

Settlers in Louisiana began adding chicory root to their coffee grounds to make the coffee last longer. Smartly enough, they quickly realized that the taste was fantastic. Coffee with chicory is a common thing in Louisiana, and, as the name of Community Coffee New Orleans Blend indicates, New Orleans proper soon became known as the seat of delicious chicory coffee.

I love coffee without chicory, but I must admit that after drinking chicory coffee, the unadulterated stuff can sometimes seem a little dull. Even if you're a die-hard fan of regular coffee, I definitely advise punching up your coffee-drinking every now and then with a cup of Community Coffee New Orleans Blend.
