Comfort Suites Downtown St. Augustine- The hotel exterior is nice. And the location is right near everything. Just a few blocks from Castillo, Ripleys, shopping. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are small and their is individual air conditioning units. There was a little fridge/microwave/coffee maker in the room. The pool/hot tub was a nice way to relax after a lot of walking! Where this hotel shines is in its staff. They were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived late and they helped us book an additional room. The Comfort Suites was very comfortable and clean. I liked the fact that it was a new hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It was located only a couple of blocks from downtown. We walked to do some sightseeing and shopping. I would recommend this hotel.Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, There was a superb seafood restaurant, Barnacle Bills only a block away. This hotel is fairly new, decor is tropical. Very clean, excellent location, rooms are comfortable, free parking. Perfect for families with kids; has a small fridge and mini microwave ovenin the room! I would stay there again and will reccomend it as well. Check in was quick and easy. The front desk staff was able to answer all questions about the area and attractions. The room was nice, new, and clean. Comfort Suites Downtown was a very favorable experience. Location is great, with just a short 2-3 block walk to the great majority of shopping and attractions and the hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, but a little chaotic with no supervision. There is a little European restaurant directly across the street which provided an excellent dining experience and after a great dinner and shared bottle of wine it was nice to just walk across the street to go back to the room.
