My review of Comfort Inn Mariposa

The Best Western Mariposa was a comfortable and clean place to stay. My husbands family and I were there for a family re-union. The family took several rooms. I heard no complaints from anyone. It was a quite place to stay. It is located on a hillside which added to the charm of it. We ended up taking our grandson with us, but we didn't know that we had to until it was too late to change the reservation. I explained the situation to the staff and they made us feel right home and welcomed him to with no problems. I would recommend it to anyone which has a family.

This was a quite pleasant place to stay, with plenty of space for us, and a nice location within easy walking distance of the shops and museums in town. The staff was very friendly, helpful, cheerful --really nice people! That was the best part. Temperature control was bad in the room , so it tended to be stuffy and a bit uncomfortable.

Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, Of course there's Yosemite -- which is in a class all it's own. But also the California Mining Museum at the Mariposa Fairgrounds. An amazing collection of minerals, gemstones from California. The town historical...

Comfortable, friendly hotel

The Comfort Inn Mariposa was generally very comfortable and the room was fine. Furnishings were better than expected and the beds were truly first class. Staff were friendly and cooperative, and the hotl's location is great for access to Yosemite National Park. Fine accommodations for a bargain price.

Dining: Short Walk, Mariposa is a VERY small town without much to do, but it can boast one of the best Chinese restaurants I've experienced. The restaurant is within easy walking distance of the hotel and their prices are very moderate for the delicious, fresh food you'll get. Start with curry chicken...
