Comet Soft Cleanser Scratch Free with Bleach is a cleanser that comes in a liquid form designed to be used on surfaces that will easily scratch. I have a fiberglass tub and sink in my bathroom and neither one will look very good with scratches in the surface. I needed a product that would protect the surface and also be effective in cleaning. Soft Cleanser Scratch Free with Bleach is a thick substance for cleaning that also removes grime and soap build up. It will also take care of any stains since it contains bleach too.

Soft Cleanser Scratch Free with Bleach

I purchased this product in the 8 fl. oz. size for around $1.99 if memory serves me. Since this is a cleaning product designed to not scratch surfaces, it sounded like the perfect cleaner for my bathrooms.

Directions for use are simple. Shake the bottle before using and apply the thick substance directly to the surface or to a cleaning rag or sponge. Wipe surface to clean and then rinse. For tough jobs or stains, let the cleanser sit for at least one minute before wiping the surface.

How Does It Perform?

I have been using Comet products, especially the powder formula. I have been pleased with the performance and had a good feeling about buying the soft cleanser formula. It met my expectations and did a wonderful job in cleaning the fiberglass surfaces in my bathroom. Not only did the Soft Cleanser Scratch Free with Bleach cut the soap scum easily from the tub, but all my bathroom surfaces with a nice shine after wiping down a second time with a clean damp cloth.

This product contains bleach and can cause irritaiton to skin and eyes. Use with caution.

If used on marble, plastic, aluminum, or enamel surfaces, test a small area first. Do not use this product on copper.

Recommendation

Soft Cleanser Scratch Free with Bleach does exactly as the product claims. It is an effective cleaner in the bathroom for showers and bathtubs that have soap scum build up. This product makes cleaning easier with very little effort on your part. That is my kind of cleanning product! Soft Cleanser Scratch Free with Bleach works better than a lot of higher priced priced cleaners I have tired in the past. It's a winner!

Aha! This sounds like it's probably easier than Comet powder (which gets Consumer Report's top rating, by the way). I like it nice and easy and have a lot of tile schmutz to clean. Will try it. Thanks.
