I know I need to be specific, so, here goes. I have been a resident in mn. for approx. 20 yrs. I don't really feel satisfied knowing the fact you don't get any reception without your local cable co. Not a bad thing, you can't live without it. Just basic is very expensive. I shouldn't feel the way I do, but on the other hand if I could, I would do without. Sometimes there are outages in bad weather. On demand is great! My internet service is great just costly. I don't like the idea everything, phone, cable, internet is all one package. But what do you do? Pay up! I might also add, the phone service is great wiith no billing on long distance services. What am I saying, it has it's pros and cons.
