Comcast - Cable Company — 

In 2 1/2 years of living in my condo I've had to replace my DVR 3 times because it kept dying on me. Then when the modem for the computer went(which was also needed for my Vonage) they were no-shows 2 days in a row because they said they called first for an appointment already made and got no answer. That was because my phone didn't work without cable! They are all idiots.

I can't agree enough except for the fact that 2 of the 8 people I spoke to were nice.. the service however was another story. I switched from Qwest for my home 3 phones, desk top, lap top and cable tv (Directv), but little did I know they have nothing to do with lap tops unless you want to add $3 a mo to your bill to rent a modem which is annoying since they should just sell one to you or I guess you can purchase them. However, if you decide to purchase there is no support for those. 2 days after I got the service I was told Comcast could get me a router. Great! oh and did I mention they want $149 to come and hook it up?!!! What a joke!! Had I known that I would have never lost a day of work (self employed) because I couldn't get a connection, I would have never gone out and purchased a router they can't support and everytime I spoke to them about all of this they all promised that once I hit the reset button to try and get connection back it would disconnect the phone... of course no one ever called back. What a joke! I have had the service for 4 days and I am disconnecting NOW!
