Most people at one time or another have seen these filthy little critters scurrying about. It doesn't mean your dirty or keep a nasty house either. Many are transferred from other sources such as moving boxes or bags brought from other places. They can travel a long way from even your neighbors house. They are a pain to get rid of as well once they decide to invade your home.

My Experience

When we bought our house back in 2005 we soon found out that we had these little roaches all over the place. We found the source real quick in our shed and garage, it seems some of the stuff my wife had in storage had gotten infested while it was in the companies storage buildings. So I ran to the store and grabbed some roach spray and went home to kill the dang things.

Oh the smell was terrible and started making everyone sick to their stomachs. The animals even seemed affected by the smell. Well I was worried about the birds as we needed to treat the room they were in as well. No use only doing a 1/2 hearted job, we needed to treat the house, garage and shed 100%.

Well my wife started asking friends what they used and one told her about these Combat Roach Traps. So off to the store I went in search of. I found a pack that had 12 in it so I got me a box of them to use in the house and figured the garage and shed would do with the spray.

Spray seems to work half heartedly as you cannot spray inside of walls or under floors where they hide. I was very apprehensive that these little black devices but was hopeful as they came highly recommended to us. Well we placed them every where we had seen the dang things coming from. Under the sinks, cabinets and appliances and all we could do was wait and see.

Within a few days we noticed we were seeing less and less of them running about and our hopes were getting high that they indeed did work. We had placed all 12 of them hoping we covered all the angles we could. Withing 30 days we didn't see any more in the house but still had a few in the shed and garage. So off to the store I went and bought 2 more boxes. We covered both sheds, garage and then I even got in the crawl space and put 10 under the house.

Bottom Line

It has been 1 1/2 years since I have seen a roach any where on the property and I change these little black traps every six months just to be sure they don't come back. I am so relieved that they worked and we don't have to worry about our cokatiels getting sick from the smelly spray. Our dogs and our cat are also safe from the over spray and the potentially hazardous spray we had used at first.

So if your house has been invaded by these critters from hell the I recommend you get some of these little black devices for your home. They have done an excellent job for us and we will keep buying them and keeping our home safe from these little demons. I am glad I tried these instead of hiring a pest control company as they use even stronger chemicals that could have been very harmful to our beloved pets. We saved a lot of money by doing it ourselves and with the help of Combat!
