I graduated from Columbia several years ago so I can speak of my experiences from back then.....it was a good liberal arts school with the great asset that many schools are lacking - teachers that are actively working in the field that they are teaching about. I have to admit that I had some terrible teachers because they were part time and didn't necessarily have the "teacher" qualities in them but I had just as many teachers that were very good. They really put a practical spin on projects and what life would be like outside of the 4 walls of the school. Simply put, they practiced what they preached. Great school for graphic design, TV & broadcasting and photography!
