This is a public college with a private college atmosphere.

a college grad, a mom, believe in higher education, partial to small class size, public school grad, pc-user

Pros

Small enrollment, beautiful campus, excellent professors, great reputation, liberal arts focus, growing and expanding

Cons

not much to do in Williamsburg

As a graduate of the College of William & Mary, I would strongly recommend the school to anyone looking for a strong liberal arts education at a small school. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the beautiful city of Williamsburg. You can't help but feel that you are a part of the history of our nation whether you are walking around the grounds of this historic college or mingling with the tourists on Duke of Gloucester Street.
