Collection Privee - Chicago, IL Review

It is incredibly hard to find a good tailor, let alone a good designer who will design and custom-make his designs for you.  Thierry of Collection Privee is one of a dying art.  He is extremely talented and skilled in fine lines and textiles and knows just what look will be the best for one's body type and personality.  Encapsulating the many skills of designer, pattern maker, tailor and having all-around excellent, classic taste, I know of no one in the whole city of Chicago like Thierry.  

His little gem of a store also offers excellent quality blouses, skirts, dresses and accessories, but where Collection Privee shines is in Thierry's own designs.   And while having clothes made for you is never a cheap endeavor, Thierry is reasonable in that his clothes - made only for you - end up costing you what you would spend in a high-end department store, without that personalized look. 

So if you need something really special for an occasion, or if you want to give a gift certificate so that someone else can get something really special made for them, there is only once place to go.  The French always did know classic, timeless, striking fashion.  It would be a mistake to go anywhere else.
