Colgate University Review

In high school I was all about the academics but once I got to applying to colleges, I realized I couldn't pick schools based soley on their price but on its price too. I received an amazing financial aid package from Colgate. When I saw it for the first time, I knew no other school would beat it. I could go to college for almost free. But with the economic downturn, our income changed significantly and they were willing to work with me. They are on top of everything and extremely organized. Some colleges I applied lost my social security card and some lost my file all together but not Colgate. I have gotten responses to my email in like twenty minutes sometimes. Once, I called the financial aid office and the woman who answered the phone immediatley recognized me and was like right you were the one that needed such and such. Colgate has great academics, people, and service. Even though it is private, it worked out to be cheaper than state universities after all the aid that they provided.
