I bought this toothpaste because I heard that once you lose your tooth enamel, it's gone forever; it's not something that will grow back or you can replace somehow. Well, that scary thought prompted me to pick up this toothpaste to try to save whatever tooth enamel I have left. Like all Colgate Total Toothpastes, this is a whole-mouth toothpaste. It helps prevent cavities, gingivitis, plaque, fights tartar and freshens breath. In addition to all that, **Colgate Total Enamel Strength Toothpaste** also strengthens tooth enamel. I used this toothpaste with average results for about a week before I read the ingredient list. Before I did, I thought this toothpaste was just okay and probably would have given it a 3-star rating. My main complaint was the lack of mint flavor. This toothpaste has a very mild mint flavor and I prefer knock-my-socks-off-minty. *After* reading the ingredient list, my rating has changed to two stars. Why? This toothpaste contains the ingredient, Triclosan, which is the very same ingredient used in hand soaps to kill germs and bacteria. Colgate is using it to be an "antigingivitis" which I don't like. Not only does Triclosan kill plants, animals and wildlife that lives in our waterways, I don't think it belongs in a product that you could consume. I give **Colgate Total Enamel Strength Toothpaste** 2 stars.

I am a dentaphobe; therefore, I am obsessive about keeping my teeth clean. I have tried any toothpaste that I find on sale. Often, my teeth just do not feel clean. I have found that Total toothpastes give me the desired clean feeling in my mouth. My teeth feel fresh for much longer. There is no tarter build up when I use this product. I usually chose the regular Total toothpaste, not the gel. A few weeks ago, I found the Colgate Total Toothpaste Enamel Strength on sale and I had a coupon, whoohoo. I bought it. It is even better than the original! It brushes nicely. There is no icky aftertaste. My teeth feel exceptionally clean, almost polished. A huge plus is the enamel strengthening. At my age, ever little bit helps. This will be my new go to toothpaste. Colgate is really great with offering coupons for Total. :-)

I purchased Colgate Total Enamel Strength because my teeth chip easily due to weakened enamel. I have used this toothpaste for 1 year now and it has really made a difference. Before using this toothpaste my teeth were damaged from acidic drinks and teeth whitening treatments. My dentist recommended that I stop using whitening products and switch to a regular toothpaste. At the time the tops of the bottom teeth were slightly transparent, meaning the enamel was very weak. Within a few months of using the Colgate Enamel Strength I noticed that my teeth were opaque again. Now that I have used the toothpaste for an entire year I no longer worry about my teeth being weak, this product has really changed strengthened my enamel. It also includes all of the other benefits of Colgate Total like procection from plaque, tarter, gingivitis, cavaties, and bad breath. I hope they never stop making this toothpaste!

Colgate Total toothpaste with enamel strength is not easy to find but well worth the hunt.  according to the dentists,  I was suppose to loose my bottom teeth 4 years ago.  I really think it was this toothpaste with it enamel strengthening agent that is helping me keep my teeth.

I tried Colgate Total Enamel Strength toothpaste for the first time before I went to bed last night.  The flavor was refreshing (and I'm VERY picky about my toothpaste flavor).  The really amazing thing is that when I woke up this morning, my mouth still felt like I had just brushed!  No nasty morning mouth!  I was absolutely floored!  After brushing with it again this morning, my mouth still feels fresh even after 2 cups of coffee!  I always brush with Colgate but don't have a specific favorite type, so I picked up Colgate Total Enamel Strength because it happened to be on sale.  I am SO glad that I did... now I DO have a favorite type of Colgate toothpaste!  I plan to make my husband try it too, so we can both wake up free of nasty morning mouth!  I also like that it comes in gel form, because I prefer that over paste.  I will definitely recommend this toothpaste.  Colgate never disappoints, but this time they really outdid themselves!  I actually can't wait to brush my teeth again!
