I purchased some Colgate Whisps on a whim perusing the aisles on a day or boredom at Rite Aid.  In the package I purchased, there were two small plastic aqua colored stick shaped devices with mini toothbrushes on the end of the plastic stick complete with toothpaste.  This formula of Colgate is blue, so the sticks are injected with toothpaste that comes out on to the brush with no mess!  There is also a plastic dental scaler on the end for removal of food and plaque from the teeth when you are not able to use a real toothbrush and are on the go.  These items are messy to carry.  I know I don't carry toothpaste in my purse, its too easy for it to get open or punctured and ruin all the contents inside, and your pocket is certainly not practical.  Its in a conveninet little toothbrush that is double sided and no bigger than your index finger.  Your teeth get pretty clean and your breath fresh as there are freshening beads contained in the toothpaste, sort of like mini bathbeads with a mouthwash like substance in them.  Try it, I think you will be satisfied!
