Kids are picky little creatures and they either love or hate most things. The majority of the reviewers' kids loved Colgate Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste, SpongeBob. From it's easy to handle tube with colorful animations to its clear blue color and mild taste, kids brushed with no complaints. However, as usual, there were some reviewers who said their kids didn't like the taste of the toothpaste and no amount of cute packaging could coax them to use it. Colgate Anti-cavity Fluoride Toothpaste is an excellent product that helps get kids excited about brushing. The flavors taste great and the characters make the whole experience an enjoyable one for kids and parents alike. It does an awesome job cleaning and brightening kids teeth. My son loves this toothpaste. I have to say I initally didn't think much about this because I don't particularly care for Spongebob but my kids do... I have always liked Colgate products and after standing in Wal-mart one day and realizing that basically all the kids toothpastes were the same thing just repackaged I became more of a Spongebob fan because he was a dollar cheaper than the princesses or Shrek. My daughter uses this toothpaste and she absolutely loves it. She would not let us change brands. She does like to change the characters (Dora, Spongbob) on the toothpaste tube. The dentist always tells us that her tooth are in excellent condition, in spite of all the candy she eats. Thanks for such a great product.… read full review »

This product does encourage kids to brush by providing cool characters they are used too. However the paste does not dissolve very well and often gets all over tube and will often slide down the toothbrush. I love that they provide characters to lure the children into at least trying it. My kids keep using it because they love the taste. If they love the taste then it makes brushing more fun.
