Colgate 360 Sonic Power Toothbrush Review

It seems like every time I turn around there are two things happening in the bathroom 1) a new toothbrush comes out on the market promising me white teeth, fewer dental visits and bright smile and fresh breath and 2) I need to buy a new toothbrush for one of the 6 people in my household or for guests that I am expecting (my son never packs anything but clothes when he comes home from college). 

So, when I got coupons for the Colgate 360 Original Toothbrush and then found it on sale too making it the price of cheap toothbrushes I gave in and bought it. The Colgate 360 Original Toothbrush price is normally around $3.49, which I think is a bit pricey for something I will probably be replacing quite soon. It is available in several different colors, mine is blue and orange. 

The Colgate 360 Original Toothbrush has a plastic overlay over the bottom half of the toothbrush to give you a better grip, and a textured thumb tab and forefinger tab that is actually quite comfortable -who knew you put that much pressure on those two fingers while brushing?

The Colgate 360 Original Toothbrush head is rectangular and filled in with three circles that are supposed to remove more plaque than other toothbrushes. The back of the head is a tongue cleaner, which as most of us know is so important to get rid of bad breath. Each part of the design is to clean your whole mouth not just your teeth, but tongues, teeth, cheek and gums. 

I think this toothbrush is a little expensive, and I am not convinced that it is a magic toothbrushing wand that it claims to be. It is nice to have the tongue cleaner, but I think that just brushing my tongue and using mouthwash should handle the job of protecting others from bad breath. 

Overall, the best part of this toothbrush is the grip tabs for the thumb and finger. It is better than most, but to be honest I am really like my new toothbrush better - so look for that review after I have had it a little longer.
