Coleman Queen Size air mattress Reviews

Years of camping and sleeping on the ground has gotten to me. I have turned into a wimp...I like comfort and I think the camping gods heard me when I told my husband I wanted to get one. 

A week later our neighborhood had our annual rummage sale and the retired female cop down the hall was selling her camping stuff.  What did I see?  A brand new Coleman queen sized air mattress (thank you camping gods) $15 and it was mine.  I even bought the Coleman air pump too that was battery operated. 

I thought just in case it didn't work I would blow it up the night before we left for camping.  IT WORKED!!! ...

It's surprising how comfortable air mattress can be.  If inflated properly and placed on a level surface you can get quite comfortable, even when sleeping in a tent just inches from the ground. I've had a Coleman Queen Sized Air Mattress for more than 5 years, and it still works just fine.

The Coleman Queen Sized Air Mattress measures about 6'' in height when fully inflated, in 54'' across and 74'' long. The top side is flocked with a fuzzy coating which helps prevent you from sliding off during the night. The rest of the air mattress is a (slippery) vinyl material that is pretty thick and durable....

The Coleman Queen size air mattress is really good, but needs warnings.  If you fill it up while it is hot outside the air compresses in the night when it is cooler and the mattress is no longer firm.  However, if you fill it up while it is cool out, either late at night or first thing in the morning, the mattress will stay firm and will not leak.

Another thing you need to know about this mattress is that it gets cold while you sleep on it because the air in the mattress will get cold.  You need to put some type of protective barrier between you and the mattress.  Sleeping bags or emergency...

I purchased an air matress to go on my daughter's new bedroom set that I purchased for her birthday.  Apparently there is a hole in the mattress somewhere but we can not find it.  We have tried several times to locate the hole, being prepared with patches to stop the leak but have not been able to find it.  So everynight if my daughter is not too tired she has to pump it up only to wake up deflated in  the morning.

I have owned three of the queen sized Coleman mattresses and each of them has started to leak after roughly one season. My wife and I camp 3-6 times each summer. We don't abuse our mattress. We are average size people and we don't even camp on rocky terrain. We store the mattress inside all winter. So why do they always leak? We are definitely fed up with Coleman and will be looking for a different brand next time.

My Coleman Queen Size air matress has really put me in the comfort zone camping! It is wonderful that all my standard sheets fit perfectly adn they do not "pull off" at night because of the wonderful suede top that keeps from feeling sticky and hot on the warm summer nights in Florida. I love the easy hands free inflation and ability to deflate. The double lock on the air valve keeps from unser inflating the matress and it holds aire wonderfully even on multi day trips. The Coleman air mattress (queen size) is great in many ways--comfortable, durable, and easy to inflate/deflate.  However, it has one flaw that I didn't realize WAS a flaw when I bought it!

I had a waterbed at one point.  The heater broke and I couldn't afford a new one.  I had a Montgomery Ward credit card so I went looking for a new mattress.  I ended up with a very expensive Intex.  It lasted about a year then developed a major leak that I couldn't find to repair.  Since I needed yet another new mattress, this time I did my homework.  I read all the customer reviews and decided on the Coleman queen sized air mattress.  It's a decision I have never regretted.  the price was very reasonable and the mattress filled easily.  It does lose a small amount of air as the temperature...

This is a great product because it has a dual plug so while you have the pump still on you can close the main pump then turn of the air then close the second plug this way no air escapes and it is fully inflated! I had trouble with a previous one that i had to pull the air pump out and quickly insert the plug; a lot of air escaped from that.

This product was very inexpensive too for being a name brand product, only about 25 dollars or less for a full size! I would recommend this product to anyone who loves have sleepovers for their kids or any campers out there, or anyone who needs an air mattress...

MY boyfriend bought a coleman queen size air mattress and he has been sleeping on it for over a year!! it hasn't popped and its much cheaper than buying a real mattress!!! the thing to blow it up is really loud but it is very easy to blow up. You dont have to keep refilling it either. it takes a good beating
