Cold Stone Creamery - Oswego, IL Review

Okay, I have to admit that I was really excited when I heard that Cold Stone was opening a store close to our Mall.  I imagined myself leaving the Mall & dropping by for some delicious ice cream on my way home.   My daughter told me they had opened but warned me that they were expensive.   But, I thought, what the heck.....good ice cream is worth it.

Well, I take it all back.......stopped by once with hubby & it was so crowded but then, it was new.   First off, I glanced at the prices & thought "Wow, for this much it must really be good".

Nope, wrong again.  We got our ice cream & went out to eat.  I kept looking at hubby wondering if he was enjoying his more than I was but he wasn't.  He summed it up....it was okay ice cream.   To put it simply, I've tasted better ice cream from Baskin & Robbins & the grocery store.   This ice cream is not worth the prices they charge & I don't look for the store to be around long.  Already the crowds have dropped off.  Don't waste your money.  Pick up your favorite brand at the grocery store or stop by Baskin & Robbins & pick from all their flavors plus they run specials where you BOGO.   Sorry, won't be seeing me again at Cold Stone.
