Amazing!

I had 2 co-workers w/ bronchitis & I started w/ headache, wheezing, fever & tickle cough, I made Doc appt for Monday & was just hoping to make it through the weekend. I really don't know why I bought this rather than Robitussin I've used my whole life, but I did. I actually liked the taste as honey comes through strong. I took as directed 1tsp every four hours on Saturday, by Sunday I woke up, my fever broke & had that turn around feeling when you know the worst is over. By Monday, I cancelled my doctor's appointment & aside for some throat clearing, I was myself again. I cannot say how much of a blessing to have stumbled across this syrup.

Never got the cold!

5

The only reason I bought this product was because it was free with a rebate at a local store. My husband and I both felt like we were coming down with the cold that our son was getting over and decided to try it. We both started taking it at the first sign of illness. The taste isn't the best, but it isn't supposed to be candy. You only have to take 1 tsp at a time, so it goes down quickly. The instructions say to take it every 4 hours which is what I did. My husband, however, had longer periods of time in between doses because of work. My cold symptoms never got beyond the "I think I am getting sick" phase with slight sinus and throat discomfort. Within 24 hours I was feeling normal with the exception of a minor runny nose and some sneezing which might have been due to allergies. My husband ended up feeling a lot worse than I did. Overall, I would use this again if it keeps me from coming down with a full blown cold.

Cold Buster: All Natural, but does it work?

2

Cold Buster warming syrup was on sale at my local pharmacy in the fall, and as I was stocking up for winter, I bought a couple of bottles. It claims to reduce the duration and severity of a cold, and to help with congestion, coughing, sneezing, and sore throat. It is a "warming Honey lemon syrup". Well, this stuff taste very bad, which I'm not entirely opposed to as long as it works. I did notice that it helped with sore throats, but I didn't notice it helping with the other symptoms. As for reducing the duration and severity of a cold, I simply don't see how you can determine that. Some colds are not as severe as others, and some last longer than others. I really had no way of figuring out if Cold Buster lived up to its claim to "Reduce Duration and Severity" of a cold. It works very good on sore throats, but that's about all I can claim for this product. I would only recommend it for those with sore throats, otherwise, don't waste your money.

Dare Ya to Keep Cold Buster Down!

2

I bought this Cold Buster Warming Syrup before cold season began and my sister and I have both used it since.  First, my sister.  She was coughing and had been sucking down cough drops all day and didn't want anymore, so I offered this to her without having tried it myself.  She poured the amount out in the little plastic cup and chugged it... and then ran around the house making a stranged noise and possibly croaking "water".  By the time I figured out she wanted water and was not having a seizure, she was in the bathroom with the Cold Buster coming back up.  She said it tasted so horrible she couldn't keep it down.  I smelled it and agreed it smelled pretty disgusting. Secondly, I tried it myself about a week ago.  I didn't really have trouble keeping it down but it did taste disgusting.  And for all the effort... it didn't seem to do anything at all.  It did have a little bit of a warming sensation but not really helpful in any way that I can figure. I would NOT recommend Cold Buster unless you have a hardcore need to have 100% natural ingredients and a strong stomach.

All Natural, Homeopathic Cough Syryp

3

I purchased this cough syryp when I had a bad cold. I had a congested and runny nose, a sore throat, a very bad cough, I had lost my voice and was sneezing. I had never tried this product before, and didn't know anything about the brand, but I noticed that it was made from all natural ingredients and I thought that it might be a good product to try. The label said that this cough syryp would reduce the duration and severity of congestion, cough, sneezing and sore throat. It has a honey-lemon flavour, which was pretty good for a cough syryp. It did soothe my throat and helped me to stop coughing for a little while, but after an hour or so, I was coughing again. I did have a bad cold, so I probably should have taken something stronger. This product may have been intented for use for mild colds. I would recommend trying it if you have a mild cold or sore throat from allergies - it might help and since it is an all-natural product, you wouldn't be putting any strong chemicals or ingredients into your body. But if you feel worse than that, you will be better off trying something stronger.
