I consume more soft drinks than any other beverage and nine times out of ten, the soft drink in my glass is something sugar free and calorie free. I prefer Coca- Cola products to other soft drinks and one of the favorites in our household is Coca- Cola Zero, a zero calorie soft drink.

I grabbed a Coke Zero from the fridge at work because it was free and I figured I'd try it to see if it's any good.  It turned out not to be so bad tasting, but there are other reasons why I don't think I'll drink this again.

Taste
It does taste ALMOST like regular Coca-Cola.  The keyword there is ALMOST. ...

Drinling Diet coke has been a passion for years. Consuming over a 2-liter each day has been a daily routine for over a decade. With the introduction of Coca-Cola Zero, I have found a new drink hero. Refreshing, no after taste, no calories, and as close to perfection as one can get is a simple discription of the new beverage. Surprsingly, the new diet soda has a rich flavor that is very close to the real thing. The addiction of my Coca-Cola drinking began as a child with Coke. Switching to Diet coke in the later years was something I was forced to do, not a choice I happily made. Reducing my sugar...

I was at a guest's house and that was the only thing besides tap water.  The tap water in "big companies bought off the politicians Louisiana" can be extremely dangerous to your health so I tried the Zero.  That was the first bad decision and the 2nd one was continuing to drink it because my host kept saying how good it was and I didn't want to offend by drinking one swallow.  Needless to say I won't try it again (will just say i'm fine).  There was an aftertaste that I didn't like and the taste is nothing like any Coke product I have tried.  It is much more different in taste that Classic... review »

thirsty, drinking my calories

I was surprised when I tried this product. I had received a coupon to try out the Coke Zero. I gave it a try and low and behold it tasted just like the regular full calorie Coca-Cola. It offers the same great bite that regular Coke has but there is ONE draw back. It is made with the nasty artificial sweetner. This sweetner tends to leave an after taste. I think if one could get past that it would make a great no calorie substitute!

It worked well to quench my thirst quickly and it made a great treat! I would encourage all Coke drinkers to give this product a try!

Diet Coke has that awful-the-first-time taste which is necessary to acquire to drink it regualrly. My wife is weight conscious and likes to have diet sodas on hand. She raves about this stuff, and when I tried it I was amazed how normal it tasted. It could be regualr soda, and it has fewer calories (by one) than their other diet drink! If all diet sodas tasted like this, they'd have an even larger market share.

I usually don't drink any drinks except for water and milk.  But my boyfriend is a devout coke zero drinker and whenever I am with him I like to drink it too. We actually have to buy two bottles so that we both have enough.

Coke Zero tastes just like regular Coke and thankfully is without the calories - which is perfect because I don't believe in drinking your calories. Diet coke is too sweet, but coke zero is just right.  It is crisp and surprisingly even quenches my thirst.

I love Coke Zero at the movies because it goes great with popcorn.  Cherry Coke Zero is an even better product and is...

I love Coke Zero!

I used to be a regular soda addict and Coke Zero is what got me to transition from regular to diet - and with Coke Zero I honestly can't tell that it's a 0 calorie drink. There's no nasty 'diet' metallic aftertaste and even my husband (a die-hard Coca Cola drinker) will have one every now and again. It really does have more of a 'regular cola' taste than anything else out there.

After over a year of drinking nothing but Coke Zero, Cherry Coke Zero and occasionally Vanilla Coke Zero, regular sodas just don't taste as good anymore. There's a definite difference between regular...

I've drank Diet Coke for years in lieu of other palatable diet soft drinks because usually it's the only diet soda offered on tap at the movies or in fast food restaurants. My mother offered me a Diet Zero, which I'd never even heard of, and I was shocked at how it tasted so much like the regular Coke. I don't care for regular Coke after drinking diets sodas for years, they're just too sweet and loaded with wasted calories. Coke Zero has the "zip" of the regular Coke and I can't taste the diet aftertaste. This soda is my new best friend!  However, my son, who is a regular Coke drinker and... review »

I have been drinking diet colas for years now looking for that one that could come close enough to my favorite, Coke Classic.  Diet Coke never did it for me, and I often ended up spluring those extra calories to get the taste I was looking for.

Coke Zero has the same taste as Coke Classic.  I have served it to friends who never suspected it was a diet soda.  My husband now drinks it as one of his sodas of choice!

Coke products often go on sale for a great price.  The added value of Coke prices, compared with the taste of this soda have made me a convert!

Over the years, I've tried almost every diet soda on the market. I'm not at all brand loyal- if there's no sugar, I'll buy it. But now I think twice- and always end up with Coke ZERO.  It's simply the most delicious diet soda on the market. I didn't realize that I had gotten used to that "diet aftertaste" over the years, and its so refreshing that Coke ZERO doesn't have it. Even my sworn Coca Cola classic drinking friends love it. I've got my mom hooked too- it's simply the yummiest soda. I have tried the other flavors (and they're pretty delicious), but I usually end up squeezing fresh lemon... review »

Unfortunately, I've always been an avid soda drinker.  I am extremely addicted to caffeine.  If I go for an extended amount of time without it, I get a horrible headache.  Drinking 12 cans of soda a day is NOT healthy and has led to excess weight gain.  Then I discovered coke  zero.  It tastes more like regular coke than any other diet brand i've found.  And it doesn't have an aftertaste.  I only like it ice cold, though.  And two liters go flat way too fast.  Switching to this product has saved me thousands of calories.

I used to drink regular Diet Coke, but, now that I have tried Coke Zero, I can't stand it, or any other diet soda. It has plenty of fizz and no diet after taste. I buy it for myself, but I am finding that it disappears faster than the soft drinks I buy for my husband and children. They all love it. I do not mind that it is caffinated and would not be seeking out a diet drink if I minded the artificial sweetener. I used to crave regular Coke now and then, but now I am satisfied with Coke Zero. It Is as good or better than regular Coke.

This is pretty much the only soda that I drink.  I started on this because it came out as I was looking for a "diet" soda but couldn't find any that I could stomach because of the aftertaste.  Now I don't have to worry about "empty" calories from drinking something that tastes like regular.  The only thing about it --it is hard to find when dining out.  I have found it in fountain form at one place-- Chuck E. Cheese.  I am hooked, have tried the vanilla version but that seems too sweet for me.

I have to say this is the very first diet soda that I actually finished the whole thing without forcing myself and enjoyed the cold bubbly taste.  I am a coke classic drinker, and although I liked coke zero, it was not enough to make me switch, however, I will occasionally buy it for the household.  The aftertaste was there just a little, but not noticable once you drink more than a few sips, it must be very cold for me though, did not go flat right away like other sodas do either, have to say, Way to Go Coke!!
