I got my sons these tablets for Christmas thinking that they would be a good introductory tablet for them that they could get some good use out of without me having to buy anything expensive until they can prove they could take care of them, they are all pretty young. I am so mad at myself for buying these! I also bought myself one as well to have as an extra and I wasted all this money that was not worth it. We got these open and started and it didn't even take 10 minutes to tell that they were not going to be good. They are so slow, it takes so long to even open up anything on these. They are incredibly slow and you cannot get as much on them as you would like, the apps are very limited and then getting one to download and open right is such a pain and they never really work. One was already not working at all within a week, it got dropped one time and broke instantly, they do not last at all, they are not durable. I would recommend spending the extra money and buying something that was worth it instead of these!

At first I thought that I got a tab for a cheaper price and I will enjoy it but the processing is a bit too slow. It hangs when it can't connect immediately to internet connection. The graphics are fine but my problem is the slow response. If you are not much into games and want this for ebook reading, not so much browsing this is okay for you. One problem is it is not supported with Google play so it's a bit hard to download popular game apps. The battery life is good and can last a bit long for me who's using it for reading and browsing.

The Coby Kyro's was my first tablet which is a great product to learn on and I would recommend for newbies but if you use your tablet on a constant basis it just doesn't have the durability that more expensive models have. In fact I bought my young grandson this model for upcoming Christmas. He can get the feel of a tablet and how to download applications and all. I hope to be able to upgrade as he becomes more experienced. Great if you are afraid of breaking because of the cost. Comes with nice applications and pretty fast also. My major drawback was that it was not good for business use. I knew I would have to dig deeper into my pockets to buy a very nice tablet to handle my workload. Recently I graduated to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (8 GB ) which has blown me away. It's everything I could have ever wanted and than some. The difference in these tablets are worlds apart but I will never regret that I began on the Colby Battery Life About ten hours

My son wanted a tablet for Christmas last year so I bought him the Coby Kyros 7-inch Android tablet. For starters it would not stay charged for long at all, maybe three hours at the most. He was unable to download apps, even his older brother and sister were not able to. So we tried deleting everything and starting over. Failure. Now we are not able to get any apps not even facebook. I have heard alot of complaints on it from other parents as well. Always do your homework and read reviews before buying an electronic devices!

For Christmas, I wanted to get my son a decent tablet for a decent price. My son can be hard on electronics, hence I did not want to spend too much that would cause me to regret purchasing it when it got broken. The prior year I bought my older daughter an 8" Coby tablet, thus I went back to Coby and found the 7" MID 7034. This tablet contained all the necessary functions, recent Android version, internet connectivity, marketplace for apps and all at a good price that I would not regret. Also, I have found Coby technical support accomodating. When an issue arose with the app market, Coby had information on a new market app to download on their techncial support line. Hence for a modest price, I find this a good tablet. Durability Like any tablet, one must be careful with it. Dropping it will break it. However, the charging pin in the tablet has broken and could be made sturdier.

I purchased this product about a month ago with the mindset that although it was a budget tablet that it would suit my minimal needs . Sadly , I was very wrong . I primarily wanted this table to bring " on the go " - if I was at a Mc Donald's , Starbucks, Panera , etc and wanted to access the internet while having a coffee or a quick bite, etc. I was unabel to get service in ALL the locations : ( The processing speed was pitifully slow and to load a youtube video took forever and a day when I even could get service . Playback was choppy, graphics were acceptable but nothing to write home about and the videos and mucis playback was choppy at best and kept stalling to reload . I ended up returning the item and will do some more research before I buy another tablet . I think they will come down after Christmas as it is and there are nows tons of no-name brands cropping up that may be better than this Coby .

This tablet has the basic features of most tablets but it is a very low tech version. Mine, at least, has many glitches and the web browser works only about half the time. The screen also is not a touch screen like an iPod, but rather, the kind old phones used to have where you have to use your fingernail or a stylus. I do think it would work well as a Kindle for reading purposes, but the internet is nearly useless.

Very disappointed in this tablet I bought it for my son and he does not like it. It is slow and does not work very well. The graphics are nice. The battery life does not last but a couple hours. The tablet looks very nice except it does not process very well .
