I've had this DVD player for almost two years now.  It still runs really well. I've even left it on many times all night (because I've fallen asleep watching movies) and that player never experienced any problems.  Unlike other DVD players that I've had to use cleaning disks on, I've never had to clean this player.  The only flaw I have ever found with this DVD player is the limited remote control options, specifically, there is no fast forward or rewind buttons.  There is a skip option that will take you from one chapter of the DVD to another but you cannot fast forward to the middle of a chapter or scene. This can be annoying if you do not watch an entire DVD in one siting and you stop in the middle without noting what chapter you stopped the movie on.  Overall, the player is an excellent and reliable at playing DVD for many hours on end with no maintenance required bu the lack of functions may be the reason why it is so much cheaper than it's competitors.

i still have this model of dvd coby since 6 years ago, i bought it on december 2004 and still works perfectly the remote control works too, i like it and i recommend it for everyone who like quality, coby so far is one of the best brands of electronics i have many accesories of them.
