This Cobra radar detector has worked wonderfully for my family.  We like to travel safely, and this thing keeps us on our toes.  We have never had any false alarms, and it really seems to go off when it should go off.  It's not al all annoying either.  We love it!

I love my new Cobra XRS-9445 radar detector. It has only given me a false alarm once but I'd rather get a false alarm than a late alarm. I commute 60 miles everyday one way and it's nice to have the security to drive a little faster in the morning when I'm late and know that I'll be protected by my Cobra. I've heard rumors that the police are using differentdetection devices, but I've not once gotten a speeding ticket with my Cobra so it must be doing something right. The notifications are a but noisy, but the volume can be changed according to desired level. The controls are very easy to use and provide an excellent radar detection and driving experience once the radar detector is set up and functional. Overall, I would rate this COBRA XRS-9445 detector as a high-quality radar detector for the money and great value for day-to-day commuting and traffic monitoring system for any commuter especially, or a normal day-to-day driver.

Cobra really out did themselves with this one. Recently purchased this one about a week ago after installing a new MUCH loude exhaust, bigger turbo, and a custom tune on my Subie WRX. (Total cop magnet now). Honestly, this thing has saved my behind 3 times...in a WEEK. It picks up radars within 100 or more meters, and it gives you ample time to adjust your speed accordingly. It seems to work well through any kinds of electrical interference and with multiple radar types, two were state troopers the other a local police officer. It mounts in the unable to be seen with the naked eye. Just be warned, if you do get pulled over...watch out. Cops these days aren't too fond of these things.   Regardless, I give it 4 stars. The reason behind not giving five is that installation can be a PITA. But overall its a great product. Try your best to interpret the directions since they are kind of vague. I would purchase again.

I have owned a Cobra Radar Detecter for about 6 years now, it really works good I dont think I would buy any other. Its also not annoying like other radars I've seen. I would suggest everyone to buy a cobra radar, it REALLY works.
