If you are looking for an inexpensive radar detector, then look no further. This cobra radar detector is very very very inexpensive and works like a pro. I am a daily driver and I often drive very long distances for work and family so I am always on the road. I drive a pretty large truck so it is easy for a cop to see me coming down the highway. With this detector, no need to worry, it will let you know when a cop is nearby so you can avoid a speeding ticket. I'm not saying this is a free pass for you to just drive as fast as you want all the time, I'm just saying that just in case you're over the speed limit, it serves as a reminder that there are repercussions for speeding; namely a speeding ticket. With all the times I've been saved from getting a speeding ticket, this little bad boy has paid for it self 10 times over. So why wait and hassle with other detectors when these one assuredly will get the job done. It will help you stay safe and be speed conscious no matter when or where you drive!

this is it!!!! the new cobra xrs 9345 radar detector is the ultimate radar detecter. daddy and me heard from one of our family friends about getting a radar detector. due to its uses we decided to buy one .although sometimes it doesnt work properly still its 99% accurate.first of all after getting it we tested it on a the security systems of a departmental store nearby and it worked perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had never imagined it would work like that saw for the first time in my life a thing like that.now the 2nd test for this amazing gadget searching for cops. it wasnt showing any cops until we were in 1/8 th mile from them that is the thing which is a turn off about it.i dont think it would be able to identify a state trooper though never tried that but i will definately in the coming days and then write another review so as to tell all those who want to buy it about it's pro's and con's.overall it would make a great gift or for personal use too it's great.

So my uncle gave me one of these, his old one.  I used it for the first time on a 300 mile trip to vegas.  I figured that dead straight 15 freeway would be perfect for dectecting police.  You put it on the windshield and turn it on and it starts beeping and flashing.  You think, oh cool its working!  moments later it beeps again, i swear to my friends, ok were going to see a cop any second now.  No cop in site.  This doesnt mean its not working but isnt giving me confidence about it.  We muted it because it got annoying :( There are different kind of alerts so  you will have to check out the difference, read the manual.  I believe that the K ones are police, and the other may be ambulance and other things.  So I would recommend turning on only thd K alerts.  A few times it went off and we saw a cop, but who knows if its really working.  I didn't get a ticket on the way dispite driving 90 mph.  But one could argue that this increases the chance of getting a ticket, as you will have confidence in speeding...?

I've had this radar detector for a while, but I only used it for about 6 months. It lagged a lot; whenever I passed a policeman on the highway it would beep right after I passed him instead of before.

I love this radar detector, I use it every day, and never take it off my windshield.  It has saved me from many many tickets, and most of the time picks up the radar way before I ever see the cop.  It has literally picked up radar over a mile away.  One time it picked up a trooper in the median so far away that I slowed down, drove for a while at the speed limit, and was about to speed back up and check it off to a passing trooper when I finally came across the cop hiding behind some bushes.  Definitely satisfied with my purchase.

Since I like sometime to drive a little bit over speed limits I had an idea to buy laser detector for a long time. I made some research in the internet and found that for price range that I can spend for laser detector this Cobra XRS-9345 was just the best candidates. It has many features like: City/Highway operation mode, Intellimute (make sound lower), can detect K-bandKa Band, Ka Superwide, Ku Band, Laser, X-band; VG-2 Immunity. Manufacturer claims that it provides total protection and peace of mind with some the best techniques. It comes with LaserEye 360 technology that can detect signal all around you if you place it on visible spot. Well, I was very excited at the beginning but after testing I found that it not detect some obvious police radar. I was almost caught because of that. Well, I though maybe it was something wrong and gave it another chance. I drove from Omaha top Denver and there're many cops and it didn't detect them all. So after all I decided to return it. It didn't work for me.

i think the cobra is an awesome item because it seems like it can track down snakes just by the name of it,and i like snakes but i would never touch one,ever!!! But i never heard of this item before.i wonder where you can get one?Or is it just not in the U.S.A.? Are they for hunting or something?I never heard of one before i hope its for snakes like you can find where they live or where they are or something.I hope this isn't a ripoff got me all happy and its nothing but a massage thing or something but if it wasn't for the name i probably wouldn't be interested in it. I do think it can find snakes because the name Radar Detector, where can i find it where can i find!!!!! i want to know now!!!! not later -_-.I've heard of something called bird detector but not snakes or (cobras).cobras are not my favorite snake the is the Anaconda but i like the cobra as well.I wonder if this is a rare item i haven't heard it on television or anything but im going to find out right now!!!

I have always been an unlucky victim of countless traffic tickets/ speeding violations. Ive purchased radar detectors from pawn shops in the past which worked, but broke within a month. The XRS- 9345 radar detector is the best investment i have ever made. The interface is easy to understand, and nearby police/law enforcement units are always displayed on the detector. I have to say this product certainly recieves 5 stars from me. It is technologically advanced, shows high quality, reliablility, at a relatively low price.
