i really think rador detectors are great.they are the one way we have an up on these kids that are our police officers.yeah they protect and serve,serve a bunch of crap.there are so many headlines of crooked cop caught in the act,harrasment cases pending...i like that you can know when they are hidding... review »

Technology today prevents most radar detectors from being much good.  Yes, the Cobra does alert you when there is a cop, however, it doesn't alert you until you are already in the radar and ten feet from the cop.  It works if you simply want to know there is a cop for no reason other than knowing. ...

my kid got one of these radar detectors. i thought she was nuts. that thing is great!  we have avoided many a hard run in withese.the cobra xrs 9430 radar detecot is a valuable item to purchase.  they are small and handy and good looking  mounted in the vehicle.  they are attractive. they make a cute sound when a police car is in the immediate area.  they are not too costly. they are affordable and money well spent. the cobra rxs 9430 radar  detector makes for a great gift  or  a great thing to buy for your own self.

this radar detector has gotten me out of many tickets. i get a great distance from the detector to slow down. great for the price. if you want to know where the cops are when your speeding and don't want to get any points onto your license or pay for any tickets than this is what you're looking for. no doubt about it that this thing works. great distance, loud alerts, not many false alarms either.

I finally decided to buy a radar detector because it seemed that teens driving or college kids get harassed the most at the end of the month by the authorities for little things like having an air freshener hanging from your rear view mirror or got 3 mph over the speed limit when it gets toward the end of the month. I would have to say it is the best investment I have made and I bought the Cobra XRS 9430 and it works wonder. It isn't as annoying as other ones I have seen and it is easy to figure out. I would definitely recommend this product!

 Cobra - XRS 9430 Radar Detector  is the best dector that i have ever bought. picks up in a long distance and is very accurate. As soon as i bought it i did a little test on it and plugged it in and drove and just looked for cops to see if it really was as good as i had herd. it was very accurate and noticed alot of the cops that i had seen. the only down fall would be that if you do happen to get pulled over and a cop does see it that means that you are more likely to get issued a ticket.

the cobra -xrs 9430 truly is a life saver...with incrased technology to find scanners before they find you, this really is something that everybody shuold have, i've saved so much money having this great item. gettng tickets is a hastle, who has the money to pay 200 and 300 dollars a pop.  thats why this is such a great investment, pay this small price and never worry about paing another speeding ticket again.     overall 5 out of 5

Seems like a great deal for such a low price think of all the money you'll be saving from overprice tickets. The Cobra XRS 9430 seems to so sopisficated and small, at least it doesn't seem to take up much space or extra weight on your dashboard. I know many people are skeptical when it comes to technology but in the long run especially if you have a teenager it's a great tool to have.

The Cobra XRS 9430 is a pretty good radar detector. I have not received a ticket since  I bought it .  The only problem I have with it, is that it seems to be too heavy for the suction platform it come with. Sometiem it falls off.   Besides that I have no issues with it

Cobra XRS 9439 Radar Detector is one of the best on the market. Gives me both front and back detection, without a lot of false detections. Makes me feel confortable when I want to drive a little faster, that I won't have the flashing light in my rear-view window. Really a good but for the price.

I purchased the Cobra-XRS 9430 Radar Detector on a Tuesday and on Wednesday it showed me just how excellent the product is.  By saving me the price of the fine the radar detector paid for itself.  Thanks for such a good product.

Bulky but very functional

High quality Radar detector bought in Costo for $70. This is my second radar detector and it is quite sensitive to the all the bands. The color graphics is cool.

I have had 2 radar detectors in my life. The newest was the Cobra XRS 9430. 2 speeding tickets later and almost $500 I find it's not worth the money.
