My  friend  and  I  went  there  for  the  first  time  last  weekend.   What  a  treat!   Aside  from  having  a  great  salad  with  goat  cheese,  the  drinks  and  dessert  were  delicious.   The  bartender  kept  a  lively  pace  and  made  sure  all  drinks  were  filled  and  the  bar  clean.   She  also  provided  great  conversation.   You  could  tell  she  knew  the  regulars  and  they  were  genuinely  glad  to  see  her.  Luckily,  it  has  not  been  a  typical  summer,  so  t he  weather  was  wonderful ...

Coastal flats is an awesome restaurant. The food is always correct and delicious.

I think that the food is decent, but it seems to have more of a low country broil kind of effect b/c it just does not have much Shellfish. When I think of a seafood restaurant, I think of lobster and crab legs. If you feel the same, this may not be the place for you. With that being said, it has the best Shrimp Cocktail in the world, It has fresh fruit cut up in it and it comes with crackers. When I go for my monthly mom's night out with a friend, I always get this for my meal because it is that good. This is a wonderful restaurant with a good assortment of recipies and with a wonderful, attentive wait staff.  It is a very busy place on the weekends, what good place in this area isn't, but if you can get in for an early dinner or lunch, you have it made!  Great for all ages; my kids to my in-laws love it!  It is often a first choice for our entire family for a great evening out.

This place is VFM. Their seafood is simply amazing. It gets really busy so you might want to call ahead and reserve a table. But even other wise you can walk around the mall while you wait to be seated. The location is really nice. I always try their seafood. But friends say that the other meats/veggies are really good too. This is one place you have to try!
