Coast - Chicago, IL Review

great food: sushi is consistently great - fresh, nice selection, appealing
  get it: creamy, creamy spicy, crunchy spicy tuna and ebi tempura - never fail
  skip it: coast crab - not terrible by any means, but too expensive and not fantastic
  risk it: sunrise - love it most of the time, been disappointed a handful of times

atmosphere: atmosphere is nice.  back room is better than the front room if you can swing it.

byob:  i love that coast is byob.  its so nice to have a more upcscale byob restaurant. i suggest make reservations in advance.  the wait on a friday or saturday night (even thursdays sometimes) can get lengthy.  i actually dont mind waiting sometimes though as they allow you to open your bottles and have a drink while you wait - dont expect a real wine glass though :)  i mind waiting even less when a few of the limited seats in the waiting area are available!

delivery: a definite perk, but the coast experience at the restaurant much exceeds my delivery experiences.  the food just tastes better when presented so lovely and fresh during dining in.
