Coach Handbags —

A friend of a friend owns 36 coach purses. 36. My one question to her, and to all other religious Coach owners is simply, why? I love a good purse as much as the next girl, and I must admit Coach does have their fair share of cute bags. But for the most part? They are flashy, snobby, and overpriced. And for the price of one Coach bag, let alone the price of 36, you can get something much more respectable.

I have found much more unique, much nicer, and much less expensive bags at TJ Maxx or in thrift stores. Frankly, I'd much rather spend $100 on a well made, used or local no-name thrift store purse than a $300 handbag emblazened with the letter "C". Fashion is not about brand name and it is not about flash; fashion is about quality, appeal, and personality and to me, that is not what Coach represents.

Coach bags may be for some people, but they are not for me.

I have the old vintage styles, very classic. The newer styles are too trendy and last for one month, then, off to a new batch of styles. I love Brahmins, Pradas and Louis Vuittons much better.

I agree.... Personally I really don't like the look of them all that much. I have some friends that are pretty fanatical about them... though they don't have 36. Yikes that's some cash.
