When i first heard that they were making a sports movie about a high school basketball team i was not at all excited. But to my surprise the movie's sole purpose wasn't even about basketball, it was based around a poor public high school basktball teams' struggle throughout the season with on and off the court issues. The acting talent os Samuel L. Jackson is again shown as he is thrust into the scene as a former high school superstar and has now returned to coach that very same team.
