Coach Carter Review

When i first heard that they were making a sports movie about a high school basketball team i was not at all excited. But to my surprise the movie's sole purpose wasn't even about basketball, it was based around a poor public high school basktball teams' struggle throughout the season with on and off the court issues. The acting talent os Samuel L. Jackson is again shown as he is thrust into the scene as a former high school superstar and has now returned to coach that very same team. The suppostring cast that play the high school team is very well put together with actors who can actually play basketball and makes the scenes believable and exciting to watch. By the end of the movie you will have connected with the players and seen that the greatest victory in life is your victory in discovering yourself and realizing how great anyone can be no matter what background they are placed in.
