Joe's Jeans are my absolute favorite. You can find them at Barney's Co-Op, Macy's, Nordstrom's and many boutique shops. Joe's Jeans average $100 per pair. I'll spend a lot on the perfect jeans though. How about you? What's your denim stand-by brand?

I'd say Levi junior low riders. Those work great for those with little butt to speak of and short waisted people.

Seven for All Mankind are my favs but they are very expensive. I found that Old Navy's lowest rise skinny jeans work really well on me but my favorites are Rocawear jeans. I have so many pairs. Levi's low waist skinny and boot but jeans in certain styles fit great too.

TJ Maxx has some Sevens for a really low price. I'm having a problem because the new jeans are all so long that I have to go into petites (or have them shortened) so right now I'm glad it's summer. I live in capris! Jo

There are Sevens and Seven for All Mankind jeans. Seven jeans aren't the same. They're nice jeans but they aren't the ones I lust over. I have two pairs of the expensive ($350 each!) ones that were given to me as gifts and I doubt I'll add to my collection at that price.
The new jeans are 33-34" in length. Some even are 35". I guess that is so people can alter them to their size. I wear 34" inseams so it pleases me not to get highwaters but it must be really annoying for those who need 30 or 31 inch inseams.

Yes... yes it is. I'm right in an inbetween size where most are too long yet petites are too short. So I go for the first and get higher soled shoes.
As for my favorites... I haven't bought jeans in so long I'm not even sure any more. I have a pair of button fly jeans that I completely adore, but I'm not sure which brand they are. Pretty much any that are a low-rise, boot cut and are fairly inexpensive (a rarity now days)

I'm a huuuge Citizen's of Humanity fan. I bought one pair ($200 -- ai. my bank account still hurts when I think about it) three years ago and I STILL wear them everyday. Wicked expensive but totally worth it -- still in perfect comfort, color, and condition!
Other than that there is a pair of Rock and Republic jeans that fit me perfectly (in the store.. can't quite afford them yet and hard to find discount) and my True Religion corduroys take over for my Citizens in terms of everyday wear during the winter.
If you're a jean addict I highly recommend Century 21 in NYC or Nordstrom's Rack in Chicago. I never pay full price for anything :)

I like Rock and Republic and True Religion jeans. I am looking for the perfect pair of True Religion jeans to invest in (because it IS an investment). I have a screwy body with a short torso, not much of a butt, and longggg legs. I bought some Apple Bottom jeans and discovered why they are called Apple Bottom. I don't have one. lol.

After spending 5+ years working at The Gap as a sales associate and manager, I've developed quite an affinity for their jeans. Great fit, affordable, and they last for years.

I've serached for years for jeans that do fit properly. Ones that aren't too fitted but give a nice form... finally a friend of mine recommended Rock Revival denim. They are the most comfortabl jeans I've ever owned. They don't stretch out after one wear, which is a huge plus, less dryer time!

I love Bongo jeans, they look so cute and they fit just right. I have no butt and love cute jeans lol. Aeropostale is cute but kinda baggy in the fanny on me but I still buy em.

I now think I like DL1961 and Black Orchid jeans as well as Fortunes best. That could be because I the pairs I got fit so well and look great. I have a pair of Joe's that are awesome as well. If jeans stretch out, gap, or are too low or high on the waist, I hate them. When I find ones that fit just right, it's like heaven!

I get my jeans from American Eagle Outfitters. They have "short" length ones that I do not need to take to my local seamstress to get altered (she makes a fortune off me). They also come in skinny low-rise which I prefer because I am so short. They sometimes have "buy one get the next one 1/2 off" sales, so I stock up. They are not too expensive at the regular price either and come in a variety of washes.

Levi's from Goodwill, bought 2 pair last week, and one pair of Rocky Mountain jeans for a total of 3 pair for $9.70 w/tax.
There's a fairly new Goodwill store in my area, and I'm glad I checked them out. Had to try on about 30 pair though...

I applaud your patience, Nancy44. Your efforts were rewarded with a low price, but I fear I am too faint of heart to spend an hour in Goodwill trying on jeans. Our Goodwill doesn't even have them arranged by size, they are all random. Yours seems better.

Rocky Mountain Jeans! Those are the western ones that are high waisted with no back pockets aren't they? I have two pairs of them and they are sexy in a whole other way. They look great with boots. I forgot I had them. I must find them and see if they still fit. A friend from Texas (ex-friend now) told me they should be so tight that you have to lay down to put them on. I didn't go that far. Tight jeans make me sick. But snug ones are fine. :)
