Clorox Disinfecting Wipes —

I've never really considered myself to be a super neat freak, but I do like for my surroundings to be clean, neat and tidy. This goes for my office environment also. I have always kept a can of Lysol Disinfectant on hand and more recently invested in Clorox Disinfecting Wipes. They have come in very handy around the office.

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes come in a Fresh Scent and also a Lemon Fresh scent. They are packaged in a stand up plastic container like some other name brand wipes. Cost is about $3.99 per container.

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes are easy and quick to use. They do not contain any bleach, yet kills 99.9% of bacteria. In fact, Clorox claims kitchen and bathroom bacteria will be killed in 30 seconds!

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes can be used on just about any surface except for unpainted wood because the surface is porous. You can use them for quick touch ups or as a follow up to your regular cleaning routine.

Directions For Use

You will first have to prepare the package by lifting off the top and threading a towel through the top opening. Once this is done, you are ready to use the wipes. They will pull through the opening in the top and tear off easily.

It is recommended that you wipe surface and leave it wet for at least 4 minutes for full disinfecting. Let the surface dry naturally. If you have a dirty surface, clean the surface area before using the Clorox Disinfecting Wipes.

My Experience With Clorox Disinfecting Wipes

I find Clorox Disinfecting Wipes to be very handy to have on hand around the house and also my office. I use them at home for quick touch ups in between cleaning in the bathrooms. They work well on the bathroom facets, bringing back the shine and sparkle. They work just as well on the counter tops and even for wiping down the toilet seat and lid. I like the fact that this product kills common germs such as Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus.

At the office we use these for various things. I use them to disinfect the fax machine telephone. To me this is just a simple and easy step in the direction of precaution and prevention of spreading germs. If if will save me from coming down with a cold or flu, then I'm all for it!

I really think these wipes are worth the extra effort since they do kill germs. They are easy to use and not expensive. They also do not have a strong chemical smell and it dissipates quickly. I have the Fresh Scent here now and the scent is not over powering at all.

Active Ingredients

Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Chlorides 0.145%, Ethylbenzyl Ammonium Chloride 0.145%.

Precautions And Product Warnings

Clorox Disinfecting Wipes are not to be used to clean or sanitize skin or use on a baby's behind. Do not let it come in contact with your skin or clothing. This could cause damage to your skin because of harsh chemicals. That being said, this product can be harmful to humans and animals.

This product can also cause eye irritation.

Very thorough review. I use the product already, and I've picked up some useful tips here.

Thanks for the tip! I've been using those Windex with Vinegar wipes and I still like them but these sound like a better disinfectant!

These things are ok, but I found they dry up b/c we don't end up using them often enough. Plus if you don't close the lid tight enough, they dry up even quicker. I try to buy these types of things in smaller packages so that I don't have that worry.

Good idea, using these things around the office. Maybe it would help prevent me from getting some kind of computer virus.
