Clorox Green Works —

Kid Kansas and I had a bit of a conversation about this product, as I'd been wanting to try it, and he'd favorably reviewed it.

And so I bought it, and so I sneezed my brains out every time I used it. Apparently I'm a little sensitive to something in it.

That said, it performed well as a cleaning product I have used, so I have no complaints about it in that respect. I passed the remainder of the bottle on to my mother-in-law, who thinks it's terrific.

I tend to be a little sensitive to flowers and things in nature, so I wouldn't want this review to in any way deter someone else from giving Green Works a whirl. Going green is always good, and someone needs to tell my nose. LOL

In response to TunefulGal's comment from Mar 12, 2009 at 2:09AM:

Oh gosh, we must suffer from the same affliction. This is a product I SO hoped would work, too. As I said, it cleaned just fine, no different, really, than other (non-green) commercial products like Fantastic or Windex, for example. Buy hooo boy, what a fine sneezing fit (and plugged up head) I had afterwards with this one. It reminds me of what some laundry softeners do to me. Arrrgh!
Glad I could help. :)

Good review. You've save me twice now from buying something inappropriate to my circumstances -- in this case allergic sensitivities to many, many things. Thanks.

Muchos gracias for the heads up on the sneezing alert. I have very bad allergies and almost anything with a woodsy or floral scent usually triggers them or a migraine. Shoot--I might even be allergic to the great outdoors ;+) ~Gigi
