My partner has sensitive skin so I use Clorox Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent on her clothes. I was thrown off by the scent of this product at first because it was very powerful and fragrances aren't usually good for sensitive skin. I did a little test on a couple of her sweat shirts and it came out clean in the wash. There was no color loss, but the scent was very well represented even after the rinse cycle. She wore one of the sweat shirts and didn't experience any type of allergic reaction to the detergent. I decided to wash a bigger load of laundry including my clothes and the results were very similar. My clothes came out clean, but I did experience some itchiness. My socks, underwear, and t-shirts all caused me a little discomfort while I was working out. Apparently all of the detergent didn't rinse out and it was the culprit of my itchiness. After further review I realized that all of my clothes still had soap residue in them. I ended up rinsing all of my clothes out again and that fixed my slight skin irritation. I will still continue to use Clorox Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent for my partners clothes, but not for mine.

I'm always on the lookout for household products that don't contain phosphates and Clorox Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent fits the bill perfectly. Unlike most phosphate-free detergents, it's widely available at many major grocery stores which (as a mother of three crazy kids under the age of six) makes it that much greater in my book. It also tends to be more affordable than most specialty detergents (again, a huge deal for any mom!). The fact that it is also super gentle on my little ones' skin is just the icing on the cake. My oldest is extremely sensitive so even the slightest residue or scent tends to leave him covered in hives. We've never had an issue with Clorox Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent though. It cleans just as well as the regular detergents too! I highly recommend it to any fanily with small children and anyone with sensitive skin or allergies.

I tried this because it is natural and I wanted to try a detergent that would be chemical free. I figured it would be more gentle on the sensitive skin that some of my family members have. It did work in that respect, it did not irritate the skin. It did clean the clothes quite well in both hot and cold water. It costs more than other detergent and so far I have not seen it on sale nor have I seen any coupons for it. It does not really have any smell and I like to have the scent of a nice smelling laundry detergent on my clothes. To me it seems that they are fresher. This one has a mild smell that doesn't last and is very light, hard to smell. I do not think that I would buy this again due to the price and the lack of scent. It performs well but that is about all. I recommend it if you want a natural detergent that is easy on the skin but if you want a detergent that smells nice, this is not the one for you. t

Another good laundry detergent, in my opinion. If I buy the Clorox Green Works, I prefer the scent free one (Free and Clear). This isn't expensive by all means, especially if you compare it to other all-natural detergents. Can't say a whole lot of bad things except that I did have a little bit of trouble getting grass out of something once when I used this stuff; whereas, a few other all-natural detergents would have gotten the stain out better. All in all, I also judge how well a detergent is by how it leaves the tub in my washing machine. There is just a slight scent after I pull out my clothes, which is better than some detergents I won't name here. No residue build up either. This is reasonably easy on our clothes, too, another tell-tale sign of how well it works. All in all, if a detergent doesn't get your clothes clean, then I don't care how "green" it is, I won't buy it. Not a concern here at all. In fact, it has been awhile since I've purchased and used it, so perhaps I'll pick up a bottle of it next time shopping. I like a little variation.

Laundry Detergent can be one of the more worrying products when it comes to health and what goes on your skin. This can help you rest easy knowing there are fewer chemicals than other brands in it. It does the job and that is really what is important with a product such as this one. For now it can be pricier than a regular brand, but is worth it in the long run. It's not too much more overall. And maybe if it becomes more popular the price will go down some. Performance I find it works fine on most anything. I haven't really tried it with workout clothes yet, but I'd assume it works just fine even if it doesn't have any strong scent, but sometimes I wonder if those are just used to make a product seem stronger than it is. Scent There is nothing strong which I enjoy, not scents or perfume type smells added which is nice. If you like scents then you probably won't like this. There may be some natural detergents that have some scent though.

I tried this because it is natural my wife tends to get rashes from a lot of detergents so we try quite a few in our household. This one was ok and it didn't seem to react with her skin type but I also noted it didn't do as much as the previous detergent. It did clean the clothes efficiently , but it lacked the nice smell our previous detergent left. The Green Works din't smell bad it just didn't really have a scent at least not to myself. One of my main goals for a detergent other than being safe for my family's skin is the scent. I like the smell of freshly laundered clothes, but this sort of leaves something to be desired. The Green Works isn't a bad product but I doubt I would buy it again . Performance Decent cleaning performance, it's slightly thinner than the product I was using so it took some time to figure out how to best use it in my old machine. The Green Works did seem to take less than our previous brand, but just did not perform as well in my view. Scent It's hard to explain the scent of this product it smells nice in the container but once it's being used it really appears to lose it's scent totally.

This washing detergent did an okay job cleaning my clothes but it didn't do much for heavy stains. It worked okay in my cold water wash but it wasn't anything exciting. I wouldn't recommend this for strong stains or cold water washing. I had to use it in warm water which costs me more money. If you don't have a lot of dirt and soil in the laundry, this product does okay but I wasn't impressed. It didn't get a lot of suds going in the washing machine. Even though it's all natural, I expected a better lather. Without the suds, I didn't get enough stain fighting ability and my clothes weren't as clean as I would've liked. Adding more product did nothing for the suds level. Although this is a natural product, it still irritated and rashed out my skin. I wouldn't recommend it if you're after something hypoallergenic. . It gave me a minor rash and irritation to my skin. After I started itching, I rinsed the clothes twice and noticed I didn't itch much after that. It doesn't seem worth the hassle to me to have to rinse my clothes two or three times to avoid breaking out. The smell of this isn't too bad. It smells more like a household cleaner to me than a laundry soap. Overall it's not bad if you're going for natural but it isn't good for heavy cleaning. Performance It did okay on regular stuff but it didn't do anything for heavy stains. Scent It smells okay but it smells more like a cleaner for your home than for your laundry.

I really like using natural products when I'm cleaning and doing laundry, so I decided to give Clorox Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent. This was not the worst laundry detergent, but I would have to say it's not my favorite detergent. I have a he washer, so I only need to use a little bit of the Clorox Green Works Natural Detergent. This helps make the laundry detergent last a long time. It's priced similarly to other detergents that are natural. I also found coupons for this detergent in the past. This always gets my clothing clean, but it doesn't leave them smelling amazing. It's just okay. I like when I take my laundry out of the closet and I can smell a fresh scent. Scent This detergent smells okay. I don't really like that it doesn't smell amazing when I take my laundry out of the closets or my drawers. The scent seems to dull really quickly after you wash the clothing.

I buy this product to try to be environmentally friendly. When I lived with a group of guys one of them swore by it. It was more expensive but did not get anything cleaner or fresher. Generally what i've found with most of these eco friendly options is that it does not clean as well for some reason and the scent it leaves behind is not as strong as with conventional detergents. I do not recommend this product as a regular use product. I would go with something cheaper and probably more effective. I like to go green but not at the sacrifice of quality. Performance I dont believe this product does as well as many competitors and is not worth the price. I don't believe it feels cleaner. Many times after use it feels like the clothes weren't washed at all. Even cheaper options have done me much better. Scent The scent is weaker than most regular detergents. I don't know if thats consistent amongst eco friendly options.

I did not like the Clorox Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent. I found that after doing a few load that they were not coming as clean as my regular detergent. I was having to rerun load as I was finding spots on my clothing from where the detergent didn't rinse out completely. The detergent had a pretty good fragrance out of the bottle but I couldn't smell it on the clothes after they were washed. It seemed that no matter how much fabric softner that I used, the clothes still had a rough, uncomfortable feel to them. A couple of days after use, I started to notice that my family was beginning to complain about itching and rashes. The detergent seemed to be what was doing it. I would not recommend Clorox Green Works Natural Laundry Detergent to anyone. For me, it was a total waste of money. It ended up costing more to get rid of the rash and buy new detergent rather than if I had stuck to my usual brand to start with.
