With two kids, a dog and a cat around the house, I am constantly wiping up spills. Papertowels weren't doing it, sponges were dirty and I desperately needed something to clean up these messes that disinfected as well. At the grocery store I found a tub of 35 lemon scented Clorox Disinfecting Wipes for $3.99. I thought this would be the solution to my problem and it was!
The Wipes
The manufacturer states that Clorox Wipes disinfects and kills 99.9% of bacteria commonly found in kitchens and bathrooms in just one step.
My Experience
I use my Clorox Disinfecting Wipes mostly on my kitchen counters because I am constantly worrying about bacteria from poultry and other foods. Since the counters do come in contact with food, I wipe them again with a wet towel as the directions indicate.
I also use them to wipe down my appliances, garbage can and light switches. The bathroom is another room that I frequently use these. I wipe the sink, faucets and even the outside of the toilet. Actually, I even use these wipes on the doorknobs on my house to avoid germs and hopefully reduce number of colds my kids get.
Final Thoughts
Clorox Disinfecting Wipes are a necessity in my household. I am constantly pulling out a wipe for many of the messes that my kids create as well as just to simply disinfect. I recommend these wipes and am giving them a 4 star rating.
