Great but hard to find refills.

This bath wand from Clorox is a great tool for cleaning your bathroom. It works really well and I was really pleased with the performance. The wand is long enough to clean hard to reach places in the tub and shower. It also works really well in the toilet. It allows you to clean the hard to get to places under the rim of the toilet. It is easy to use and very effective. There is enough soap in each wand top to get your bathroom clean and smelling fresh. The downside to this is that refills are extremely hard to find. Therefore, once you use the original packet, you would have to buy a whole new one instead of just buying refills. That is the only negative I found with this product. Performance The performance is great. It gets your bathroom really clean without a lot of effort. It definitely makes cleaning much easier. Scent The scent is really clean and fresh. It leaves your bathroom smelling really nice for an extended period of time.

Interesting..

I bought the Clorox BathWand because I thought it would help me do the shower walls easier. It was NOT impressive though. I thought it would clean easier than it did, but I had to use a separate cleaning spray and really scrub to get mildew off. It might be good for a daily quick job, but not for a deep cleaning or a weekly basis. Performance I was not impressed. Just seemed like a sponge, that didn't absorb much, on the end of the handle. The handle itself made it hard to maneuver and it was difficult to get into the corners of the shower stall to effectively clean. It was decent enough going straight up and down, but forget any areas with an angle: all the corners, under the tub faucets, etc. Scent I couldn't tell a smell, but I was using it along with another spray. I'm pretty sure it did not smell, or was not strong. I used it more as a device, with other cleaners to actually do the dirty work, but again, did not like it.

Just okay

This did an okay job of helping me to clean my bathroom. I appreciated that it attempted to prevent me from having to bend over or reach up as far, but it didn't really allow me to scrub as thoroughly, so I ended up having to go behind and do touch-up work after all. I can see this being useful for just the occasional touch-up or light cleaning duty, but if you're really looking to scrub your bath and shower effectively, you really ought to just stick with the traditional methods of cleaning. This was a little too flimsy for my taste. Performance This was only okay. It got the lighter stains and it got into some of the spots easily, which kept me from having to bend and reach, but the clean didn't last as long as I hoped. It was frustrating to have to go back over it all again not long after cleaning it. Scent Since this didn't provide a deep clean, it didn't really change the scent. I had to go back over it with some scent.

I love these wands, because as much as I love my family, I really don't want to put my hands in the toilet that they have all used! :) Therefore it makes it a lot easier and not as much of a nasty hassle :) Performance gets the job done, I don't have to go back and redo it! Scent makes the bathroom smell wonderful

Wasteful But Effective Way To Clean The Bathtub and Shower

5

Cleaning the shower and bathtub can be a very frustrating, especially when your water is harder and full of minerals, leaving lots of soap scum and stains to contend with. The Clorox Bathwand is a very innovative cleaning system which does a great job. It comes with a wand that has to be assembled. Once you put the wand together, it stays together and you can not take it apart again. This wand has a triangle shaped end on it which has a hook and loop type surface on it. You attach a pad to the end of it, which is pre-loaded with cleaner. You wet the cleaner end of the wand to activate the cleaner and then apply pressure on the wand to scrub the surfaces of the tub and shower. The shape is designed to get into smaller places. When done with the pad, you take it off and throw it away. I don't like the idea of having to throw away something each time I use it, but it isn't that big or that often so it could be worse. This is not the most cost effective way to clean a tub or shower, but it is one of the easier ones, especially on the back. Performance I am very impressed with the Clorox Bath Wands. The cleaning power is great and the ease of use is admirable. It does a decent job on mold, mildew, and soap scum. I find that it is not hard to use like most other cleaning solutions for the bathroom and bathtub. There are some drawbacks, however. The wand has small pointed areas for ease of use in small crevices of the tub and shower. It does work pretty well, but i find that I still have to use another cleaning sponge to get into smaller areas. There is plenty of cleaning solution loaded into the pads, however, so that makes it pretty decent to work with. I love the way that the surface of the tub and shower is left clean and shiny. Also, I find that on occasion, the pad won't stay put on the wand and I have to fuss with it too much. It does not happen often, but when it does it is frustrating. Scent This is one of the nicest cleaning products for the tube or shower. It leaves the bathroom smelling fresh, but does not bother my lungs to use it. Ventilation is still necessary when using any bathroom cleaning product, but it does do a decent job without making me feel sick like so many other products do.

Clorox Bath Wand Makes Cleaning Bathrooms SO Much Easier!

4

Cleaning is not a fun thing to do and cleaning bathrooms is even worse! Getting a helping hand is very much appreciated when it comes to cleaning bathrooms, and that is exactly what Clorox Bath Wand does-makes a nasty job much easier! **Clorox Bath Wand** Clorox Bath Wand is a cleaning kit put out by the Clorox Company. It is marketed as a disposable tub and shower cleaning system. It contains two handles that screw together, a flat triangular piece that attaches to the handle and two cleaning pads per package. Please note that I have one of the original wands and the new pads have a different design. Everything else is the same about the bath wand. Assembly is very simple, just put the handle together, snap on the triangular piece and pop on a cleaning pad. The cleaning pads stick to the triangular piece because they have a "fluffy" side that sticks to the pricks on one side of the triangular piece. To use the Clorox Bath Wand (after assembly of course), you will dampen the cleaning pad to activate the cleansers on the pad. You are now ready to tackle cleaning! **How Does It Work?** I have used the Clorox Bath Wand for about a year now. I love the way the wand pivots to clean in curves on the bathtub. This also comes in handy when cleaning shower stalls with rounded corners. The wand is about 2 feet long and makes reaching the top of shower stalls much easier. It also saves your back when cleaning a bathtub. I find that cleaning with the Clorox Bath Wand goes much quicker. I can clean my bathtub and shower in about 10 minutes vs. 10 minutes on the shower and an additional 10 minutes on the bathtub. It is really a timesaver. Clorox Bath Wand does contain chemicals that some may find irritating. I do not do well with harsh chemicals, but find this one to be pretty mild. I just opened a new cleaning kit because my old handle had gotten warped from so much use. The handle lasted for at least a year, maybe a bit longer, so I would still say this is a good system to use to make your life and cleaning the bathroom easier. Cleaning pads are disposable and can be purchased separately. You can usually get a couple of uses out of one pad if you rinse the pads after using. **Product Warnings** The package contains the following warnings: Eye irritant Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Always stand on a non-slip surface when using product. Do not use in combination with other chemicals. **Recommendation** I appreciate a little help when it comes to cleaning-especially the bathroom! Clorox Bath Wand makes cleaning the tub and shower much easier and the job gets done in about half the normal time. I highly recommend it!

Not worth the money

1

If y ou have NO other device to clean your toilets, this one is still not worth the money. Get an old clotheshanger and wrap a old teeshirt around it. Don't pay the price for this device. I purchased one, using a coupon to purchase it. Never even used up the cleaning attachments that came with it. So poor in cleaning, and never stays on the wand. Falls off and then you need a new one! What the hey????? Total waste of money, trust me. I am an avid user of new products, as long as I have a coupon. I love new products, but only if they work. This doesn't !!!!!!!

A better way to clean the bathroom dirty places

***Bottom-Line:*** Is the **Clorox Bath Wand **in our house to stay?  I'd say that is a safe bet Cleaning, we all hate to do it, but it is a necessary evil; the soap scum must go, but laying waste to it can be a painful affair.  The back aches from bending over, the knees hurt from kneeling on them, and the arms and fingers can knot up and cramp from forceful scrubbing.  But all of that may have changed wit the introduction of the **Clorox Bath Wand **in our house.  The **Clorox Bath Wand** is a disposable bathtub and or shower cleaning system that is both easy to use and effective.  As the name implies the cleanser used to wipe away that nasty dirt and soap scum is Clorox cleaner.    **My Thoughts** My old method of cleaning the tub:  Turn on the shower so the steam can soften the soap scum for easier removal.  Sprinkle *Comet *here and there and let it set for 10 minutes.  Get down on my knees to scour out tub with a sponge and scrub brush.  Rinse thoroughly.  Take (2) ibuprofen for my aching back when finished. **Clorox Bath Wand** method:  Snap or twist together the 2-piece pivoting wand (which becomes permanent once snapped into place.   Place the triangle shaped sponge on the wand, scrubby side down, and wet to release the cleansing agent.  Sit on the side of the tub, and scrub with the wand.  The pivot action allows the scrubber to conform to the sides of the tub.  There is plenty of cleanser in the sponge, so you can scrub for several minutes without fear that you'll run out of the solution.  As with any household cleaning product, it is potentially toxic and must be used with caution, but the cleanser in the **Clorox Bath Wand** does not emit strong fumes during use.    I thoroughly scrubbed the entire tub and sides, and everything rinsed away to a nice clean shine.  I still needed to use a sponge by hand to get the stubborn scum in the grout and caulk lines, but overall, the process was more effortless than my old method.  Now that the wand is assembled, next time will be even easier.  Just put the sponge on and scrub. We like the *Clorox Bath Wand w/cleanser*.  The one piece unit makes it easy to get to those hard to reach place in the tub without a lot on the back strain.    I liked the longer reach of the pole, and that fact that the sponge will hold a lot of cleanser, which means I do not have spend a lot of time re-applying cleaner, which in turn saves me time. Is the **Clorox Bath Wand **in our house to stay?  I'd say that is a safe bet; my wife has taken to it and since she does most of the bathroom cleaning the **Clorox Bath Wand **is now the newest addition to our cleaning arsenal.
