There are a lot of self tanning products on the market, and believe me I have tried most of them! Living in Alaska, we jokingly refer to our skin color as neon white, but we do not have a lot of sun for most of our winter. If I want some color in my skin, I either go to the tanning booths (which is expensive and I don't feel is very healthy), or I use a tanning product in a tube. Clinique is a brand I trust, and this product did help put some color in my skin. No matter which brand you use, it is important that you take the proper steps to get the best results. That means cleaning the skin and exfoliating it to remove dead skin cells, also important if you live in a dry climate and suffer from dry skin. The directions say to blend the cream with both vertical and then horizontal strokes so I don't get tan lines. This product is nice and is easy to apply, it does go on smoothly. It also smells better than other tanning products I have used, some of them smell really nasty! I expected a bit too much from this product because it took several days of use to get the desired results, even though the tube says it will start to work in a few hours. It also left my hands and under my fingernails orange, so a good scrub was needed to fix that. To conclude, it did work, but I feel there are cheaper products on the market that worked as well for me. I did have to put up with a scent I don't like however. I tried Clinique Face Quick Bronze Tinted Self Tanning Lotion as I no longer sun bathe and wanted a bit of color on my face.  I was not pleased.  It was streaky and did not give a true "glow".  It was a bit orangy and faded quickly as well not a smooth, natural look.  I was really disappointed as a general rule, I am pleased with Clinique products.  I would not recommend Clinique Face Quick Bronze Tinted Self Tanning Lotion as I think it is expensive and just does not do the job.   I will always pay extra for a beauty product that does what it says it will do but this product simply does not live up to its hype.   I would recommend using a powder bronzer which gives good and natural coverage although you do have to use it daily.  Perhaps in the near future, they will improve this product but the only way I would re-try Clinique Face Quick Bronze Tinted Self Tanning Lotion is if I received a sample!

I am biased when it comes to clinique. I use this product exclusively because I trust the name. I like the fact that there is no allergens in it and there is less additives to cause breakouts and such unpleasantness.
