After years of being a devotee of Clinique's City Block facial sunscreen, I decided to try out their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. So far I've been pleased with the results, but not thrilled. I bought the level II lotion for dry/combination skin, which apparently is my Clinique skin type. — — The bottle is simple and attractive, and I would definitely pay the extra couple of bucks for the pump top. OK, I'll admit that i'm not easily impressed by a "brand name" or product with pretty models in the glossy page ads in expensive all-ad magazines. I do not wear makeup on a daily basis (oh my!) and I don't have a lot of money to spend on making myself look pretty. — I have been using the Clinique 3 Step system since 1988 and I've been raving about it ever since! I have been using this moisturizer since I was in my twenties. No one ever guesses my age (48) and I think the way my skin looks has a lot to do with that. It glides on easily and there is no sense that my pores are being clogged by heavy thick cream. My face drinks it in and takes my skin from tight and dry to soft and supple. I got a good sized sample of this product recently when I went with a friend to pick up some Clinique products for another friend. I've tried various moisturizers in the past. Most of them annoy me; they are heavy or just sit on the surface of my skin; in some way they just don't seem to be doing anything for my face. — This product is different. I have yet to be disappointed by anything Clinique makes - from their makeup to their skincare line, I am in love. The dramatically different moisturizer was the first Clinique product I ever tried, and I still use it regularly 10 years later. It's perfect for keeping skin supple and comfortable, even in the winter. It always helps me look fresh and glowing under my makeup, which goes on very smoothly over this moisturizer. I have been using this facial product for a number of years. I have oily skin but in the winter time, my skin can be very dry so this lotion works wonders for my face. It is lightweight, not greasy, hydrates my skin perfectly and I also love using this in the summer time too. With warm weather, my face usually feels fine but after all of my showers, my face is usually on the dry side so this lotion is my first choice in the summers. I have mild eczema and my face seems to get very irritated and dry. This is one of the best moisturizer I have used. It is not greasy and immediately hydrates the skin. The skin feels very smooth and moisturized. Although this smoothness won't last the whole day. Another application of this lotion is needed especially in cold winter days to protect the skin. I don't have a lot of extra spending money lying around. but with this product it is worth it. I love being in the sun and I travel alot and it's hard on my skin. This is a great product. I have been using this product for over 10 years and it has really helped my face with dryness. I also think that it helps me look younger. I am 34 years old. OK. I've tried them all. While there are face lotions that I liked more for varying reasons, none delivered such value and performance. I have very dry skin in the winter and very oily skin in the summer. This is the perfect weight for year round use, doe snot upset my sensetive skin, is not greasy under makeup, and is a good value (especially if you have a cometics outlet near you).
