Clinique has a range of new seasonal colors and they are great for any skin tone. This particular one, a different grape is a wonderful color and can be worn be almost everyone. You can feel confident when wearing this product because it is hypo allergic and last. Many cheaper lipsticks seem to wear off in less then an hour but I did find that when I used Clinique it did last for several hours and looked like it was just put on.

I am always on the lookout for a good berry/grape color lipstick. I have light skin and I can't wear colors that are too orangey. There needs to be some blue underneath the red/pink for lipstick to look right on my complexion. The color of Clinique's A Different Grape is PERFECT for me. But, I am disappointed that it doesn't last longer. I need to reapply it every hour. It looks glossy and sheer, like a deeply pigmented gloss almost, but it doesn't even last as long as lipgloss! I tried wearing lip primer and lipliner. This helped the lipstick to last longer, but it is a real pain when there are other lipsticks that last longer without all the preparatory steps. I don't mind paying more for good lipstick. (In fact, I haven't really found any drugstore lipsticks that I like, so I almost always pay more for lipstick anyway!) But I want it to WORK. I still wear this lipstick, because I like the color. But I'll go through a tube really quickly, and I won't replace it, because of the not-lasting issue. Bummer!

I love clinique lipstick! It always goes on smoothly and keeps my lips feeling soft and smooth all day long. You do have to apply it more often than I'd like, but I can deal with that. The color looks great on fair-skinned girls like me, as well as darker complexions. It is more expensive than drugstore brands, but to me, as long as I can afford it, I will continue to buy it. I usually wait until Bonus Time when I can score some extra gifts. My first tube of this color actually came as a Bonus Time gift in a makeup bag.  I was very pleased with the color and it will now be one that I am willing to pay for. The silver tube is also really pretty and attractive to carry in your purse. Try it...You are sure to like it!!!!  The color goes on well and is not too dark, also! I hate to have to blot my lipstick because it's so dark and out there, so I love this color because it is easy to control the darkness with which I apply it. Love it! Love it! Love it!

I give very few items a five star review but this lipstick truly deserves it.  Most makeup I try doesn't last very long with me.  I try it for a day or two, or a week or two, sometimes more, but usually end up getting bored or frustrated and then chuck it.  This is one of the rare exceptions when I use a product regularly and keep it until there is none left.  To me, this is almost the perfect shade of lipstick.  I have worn it with almost every color outfit there is and it usually looks good.  It is a nice combination of pink and brown, which is a color that is flattering to most folks and is a go-to color for me.  I got this as part of a free item with purchase deal and am thrilled to bits about the results.  Not only is the color great, but the application is nice and smooth.  It doesn't look or feel heavy and it doesn't leave my lips feeling dry and uncomfortable.  I usually have to put gloss on over my lipstick to avoid that dry lip feeling, but I can wear this lipstick by itself and feel perectly comfortable.

I have had great luck using Clinique's lipsticks, and this formula and shade are one of my favorites. This is a very moist formulation. I can't stand when a lipstick dries out my lips and makes me run for a lip balm! This is somewhat sheer, moist coverage in a wonderful shade. It can be worn daytime as well as in the evening.  The Clinique consultant steered me to this color, pointing out that it was one of those magical shades that made teeth look whiter. It does! I love this shade as well as another that was called Just Gorgeous. They really do help make teeth look whiter, and it's so much cheaper and faster than whitening strips!

Clinique different lipstick in different grape was not a very good color for me. I did like the overall texture of the lipstick and I would buy a different color next time. The grape color made my lips look to purply. I guess that is why the call it grape. So if grape is what you are looking for, this lipstick is for you. It truly is .I like the smoothness it brings to my lips and the light weight feeling. It lasts longer than most lipsticks I have used. I usually apply this clinique  lipstick 2-3 times a daily.  It does not dry my lips out, but instead gives them moisture that they need throughout the summer and winter. I do wish that the price was a little less on clinique's lipsticks.  I think I would try more colors if it was a little more affordable. Overall, Clinique Different is "different" in the fact that it is a reliable product that can be trusted for quality and consistency.

It is an amazing lipstick because of the color. It looks dark in the tube but perfectly natural on lips. One of the lipsticks that I will continue buying. Great texture, no weird taste, like some lipsticks have, buttery feel.

I have been a fan of Clinique's Different Lipstick for probably 15 or 16 years now, especially with my sensitivities to smells common with some other lipsticks, but this may be my new favorite shade. I got this lipstick as part of a bonus recently and fell IN LOVE. It's hard for me to find a lipstick color that looks good on me because I am so pale but this really worked with my skin. I tried this on a whim for pictures, concerned it would be too harsh, but needing something to go with a purple outfit, and everyone LOVED it. I do not view myself as photogenic but my pics look great and everyone kept talking about what a great smile I had - I thank the lipstick big time for that. I applied it with a brush and my lips still felt moisturized and had color many hours later, at least five or six hours later, even after eating greasy food and wiping my mouth many times. To make things even better, it actually did make my teeth look whiter and brighter as Clinique said it could, which is something I think most of us want these days. Compared to how pale my skin is, it's hard to make my teeth look really white even though they probably would seem pretty and white with most skin tones, and this lipstick did the trick.

Mary Kay lipsticks are my all time favorites but I have to give credit where it is due and Clinique lipsticks really do compare well in most of the qualities I am looking for in a lipstick. **What I like about Clinique Lipsticks-** Nice colors that are usually "true" to color.  **A Different Grape** is one of my favorites. Goes on smoothly and with a well defined edge and stays put. Creamy and moisturizing and doesn't dry out lips.  Functional and attractive dispenser in shiny & sleek silver. Looks nice with or without gloss.  It has its own shine but doesn't look frosty. The price is also comparable to MK lipstick prices.  Lipstick is one cosmetic that I am willing to go a little pricier.  After all, I am putting this stuff on my mouth!  What makes this Clinique Lipstick an "above average" instead of an "outstanding" to me is how long it last before you need to reapply.  It is certainly above average and lasts much longer than drugstore brand lipsticks but doesn't have the long lasting color that I enjoy from my Mary Kay lipsticks.   ***My Viewpoint:  ***Clinique A Different Grape is a super shade that looks good and feels.  Just wish it would stick around a bit longer.

I cannot say enough good things about Clinique lipsticks!! The one thing most important to me about the lipsticks I wear is that they ABSOLUTELY CANNOT have that "lipstick smell" to them (the worst smelling ones to me are Revlon and Maybelline). Another problem that I often encounter is that the "outer edge" of my lipstick stays on while the middle portion of my lips wears off (which i attribute to having dry lips).  Clinique lipsticks (any of their lipsticks) are the best yet that i have tried.  I find that they do not have any scent to them whatsoever and they are longlasting.  Though Clinique cosmetics can only be purchased from Department stores i feel that their prices are quite reasonable compared to others that are only available at Department stores. For example, Estee Lauder is one of the more pricey as well as reputable Department store lipsticks but yet I feel they are not as long lasting as Clinique lipsticks and i can also detect a slight scent .
