Clinique Clarifying Lotion is AWESOME. Hands down. Clinique overall is amazing. Light weight. Fun. Flirty. Sexy. Simple. Natural. It makes you want to get ready for a night on the town, a day at the dog park, an afternoon hike in the mountains, or a day at home with the hubby. It is versatile and so easy. You can get ready in no time. The only reason I would consider using something else or another brand would be if Clinique went out of business all together and then you still could probably find it on line somewhere for a time after that. I would even do that in order to keep it as long as possible....

I got samples of the three step system and I wasn't thrilled about the  yellow soap or the "dramatically different moisturizer", but I loved the toner.  I always felt refreshed and clean after I used it. 

I just purchased the toner on its own and I use it after a mild cleanser (cetaphil) twice a day followed by an SPF neutrogena moisturizer and retin-A at night. 

This regime seems to be the trick and I credit the clinique toner for the difference because my skin used to get incredibly flakey from the retin-A, and now it's smooth and blemish-free.

I love the Clinique Clarifying lotion.  I use the #2 and think it gets all the dirt left behind.  My husband uses it after shaving and it keeps his skin from breaking out.
