I got this at the urgency of friends and relatives who say that sunblock is an everyday necessity. Because I hate the way sunblock smells and has an oily consistency I've been avoiding sunblock for a greater part of my life.  Then I picked one of these up.  It's a somewhat thin sunblock with some makeup characteristics like the title says. It's thin enough to not feel like caking my face but at the same time I'm reassured that I'm getting at least some protection from the UV rays. I live in sunny Southern California and uv rays and sun protection is a big deal all year round. I put on the Clinique on the particularly bad days and i guess it's been serving well enough. It is slightly oily still and you can see it oozing out whenever you use it so its recommended that you shake vigorously before using to mix up the oils.  Putting on a slightly thicker coat lets me lay off the concealer for the day as well.  Overall, it's a great facial sunblock and a decent makeup product.
