Not as effective as most of their other products

Comments about Clinique 3-Step Kit -Combination Oily/Oily Skin Types:

I love almost everything I've tried from Clinique and was expecting to love this product and have great results. I didn't hate this kit, but it didn't live up to my expectations either. In the summer, my combination skin ends up more oily unless I am spending a lot of time in the sun. I thougth this would be good to try to combat some of the negative effects but I was wrong. It seemed like it took a lot of time to get virtually no positive results. Instead of my skin feeling clean, refreshed and good I sort of felt like it felt heavy and dingey. I used the rest of the product and I didn't have any issues, but it didn't do anything to improve my skin that would make it worth the price in the future.

Effectiveness
This system works to give you clean skin, but I did not find it made my skin any more even or improve any more then using a less expensive product.

Ease of Application
Even though it has multiple steps, it is extremely easy to use.

Scent
Most clinique products are unscented. This is no exception, but it does have a slight scent just from the ingredients, not anything added. You smell it when you first use the product but it dissipates almost immediately and has no lingering scent.

I really like this brand but I was dissapointed!

Comments about Clinique 3-Step Kit -Combination Oily/Oily Skin Types:

I really like clinique I buy a lot of their make up products but when I decided to try out the 3 step kit I was pretty dissapointed. The reason why is because it makes my skin feel really dry after I apply the bar of soap to clean my face. It does not even really clean my face at all let alone fight acne. The next step is to put on this watery substance that says its a cleanser but feels like I am putting on slightly scented water with white stuff you have to shake. It did nothing for me. My face did not even feel clean which was a disappointment after having done those two steps. The last step is putting on this lotion which felt really oily on me and I did not like the way it made my skin feel. I honestly do not recommend this product because it seems pretty useless, it feels like the products are fillers!

Effectiveness
It made me feel more oily than before washing my face!

Ease of Application
It is easy to apply all you have to do is dab it on your face.

Scent
There is a very faint scent and it claims to be non-scented/ non-fragrance.

WORST PRODUCT EVER!

By

Comments about Clinique 3-Step Kit -Combination Oily/Oily Skin Types:

I love cliniques make-up line and don't use anything BUT their make-up, but they got something SERIOUSLY wrong when they tried to create a face wash line. I have never had severe acne, just the occasional light break out of a handful of zits every now and then when I was a teenager. Of course I thought this was the worst thing in the world, getting 2 or 3 zits at a time, and my mom and I thought the 3 step face wash and moisturizer system by Clinique would be perfect since their make-up is so great. However we couldn't have been MORE WRONG. This product intensified my few zits into a full blown t zone breakout problem. When I was using their 3 step system I had the worst problem with zits, blackheads, and white heads then I have ever had. I didn't want to stop using it because it was so darn expensive, but I eventually had to because I began to have an acne problem. I know this product works well for some people however, see if you can try a sample or something before you buy the big expensive system.
