My son is four years old and LOVES his Clif Kid Organic Z Bars. He likes all the flavors but prefers the chocolate chip and chocolate brownie over the rest. I like that the ingredients are organic. I do wish they had a little less sugar but compared to other kids's snacks they are pretty harmless. Organic ZBaR contains no hydrogenated oils, no high fructose corn syrup, no preservatives, no artificial flavors or colors. They have added vitamins and minerals which is awesome when you have a picky kid like mine! Little Guy would eat 3 of these a day if I'd let him. I limit him to one a day. Clif Kid Organic Z Bars are great to take along to playdates or day trips as a meal or a snack. I've tried them and am not the biggest fan but as long as Picky Pete likes them that's all that matters. The only con is the price. You can on occasion print out a coupon for them or find them online for a decent discount. I've seen the giant variety packs at Cost-Co as well.

I first heard of these after trying the Luna Bars. (both made by the same company Clif) I didn't try them at first because I saw that it was an engery snack ment for kids. But, once I started reading blogs online of adults eating them, I thought to myself "Maybe I will give it a try". They come in a variety of flavors, Chocolate Chip (obviously), Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry, Honey Graham, Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Brownie, (oh, and Spooky S'mores, only for the Halloween season). The first flavor I tried was the chocolate brownie. I liked it, it was really, really, super yummy! It tasted similar to the Luna Caramel Nut Brownie (once again made by the same company). Then I tried the Chocolate Chip flavor. WOW! AMAZING! were my thoughts, this was really good! It tasted a little bit like chocolate chip cookie dough, but in my book, definitely not a problem! The only problem I had with it was, it was kind of small. I don't know if it's just me or not, but I ate that thing in less than 5 minutes! lol. but it was worth it, and I would give these babies a try. Organic, no preservatives, and most importantly no HFCS!!!! These bars come at between 120-140 calories per bar. Great afternoon snack! (even if your not a kid like me)
