Click (2006) Review Summary

The Adam Sandler movie Click is about a married man who's life changes when he finds a magic remote that let's him take control over his life. Though it's primarily recommended by Viewpoints comedy lovers, Click also has it's share of drama and is comparable to 50 First Dates. "There are some real sad parts mixed in with the real funny parts - so be prepared". Click leaves Adam Sandler fans laughing so much they cried and in the end they state "it had a good message for its viewers". Not everyone is a Sandler fan, however, and these reviewers think "Click is borderline awful". Conclusion: Sandler fans say Thumbs up, Non-Sandler fans say Thumbs down. Want to see a sillier Sandler movie? Check out I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Little Nicky, and The Wedding Singer. Or if you are looking for a deeper Sandler movie, look for Reign Over Me.

I enjoy science fiction, particularly stories that use twisted time as a plot device. One of the best examples of this is Groundhog Day, a terrific romantic comedy that you really wouldn't consider science fiction -- except that a loop in time is the device that powers the plot. I thought the same...

What's it all about?  (no spoilers!)
Michael hates his life. He wants a promotion, he fights with his wife, and he doesn't have time for his kids! Worst of all, he's got a dozen remotes that run different electronics, but he can never turn the TV on! After a frustrating evening of trying to turn on a documentary, he runs out of the house to finally get a Universal Remote.

Every store is closed except for Bed Bath and Beyond (my favorite place!) He goes to the Beyond section and meets Morty who has just the remote for him. Michael leaves excited to try this new remote. As Morty told him, the remote...

I've never been into Adam Sandler movies, I just never liked him, or his comedy.

One day while I was at my former girlfriends house, I was looking through her dvd collection. Most of her movies were "chick flicks", and the others were ones I added to the collection. Except one. Click. I must have picked up the case a dozen times and looked at it, then quickly returned it to its place in the rack. Until one morning while I was enjoying some coffee, I decided to watch it. I figured since it had Christopher Walken in it, there might be some scenes worth watching, and I think Kate Beckinsale is nice...

adam sandler is such a great actor and comedian, there are only a couple of his movies i don't absolutely love. this was such a great date type of movie to go and see, it kept us laughing throughout, and even made me cry at one point! (the only other adam sandler i cried at was spanglish) it was a very heartfelt movie, and makes you think about your life and the way you live it afterwards. it had a good message for its viewers, i recommend it highly to everyone.

This is a great movie for parents and young adults alike. It has you laughing so hard you have tears in your eyes and then turns quickly into crying out of sadness. It has a good lesson, and message. FAMILY FIRST

When I first saw the coming attractions for this movie, I had no intention of seeing it. I’m not a fan of Adam Sandler and felt that Click would be too goofy of a movie for me to really enjoy it. Then, a coworker saw it. He said that it was a lot more serious than most of Sandler’s movies, but still had its moments. It was then that I began to wonder how bad it could really be.

The movie is about Michael Newman (played by Sandler) who can’t keep track of all the remotes that he has. One night, he sets out to find a universal remote. He ends up in Bed, Bath & Beyond, where he meets Morty (Christopher...

Click was such a great movie! I didn't see it in theaters, but I did see it on dvd, and it was great. Everything about it, from the storyline to the characters down to the acting, it was all well done.

Throughout the whole movie my husband and I kept joking around and teasing each other about how we wished we had one of those remotes so we could just use the remote to shut the other up, we just kept going throughout the movie whenever a scene would come up with the remote and he would click.

I wouldn't say that I would watch this movie again and again, but I would definately say that I would keep...

It sometimes boggles my mind how some actors or people that call themselves actors would allow themselves to be cast in obvious duds. That is what Adam Sandler has done here. This movie is supposed to be funny , the funniest part of this movie is when you see the end credits. Adam Sandler continues to make movies who no one wants to see. Adam Sandler has not made a good movie since Waterboy. Don't waste your time in terrible movie.

This movie is just so great because Adam Sandler does a great job making you laugh, then again the movie is also just so tragic (i cry every time). It also makes you think about what's important, every time i finish watching it, i feel the need to become a better person.. ITS AWESOME! It also has those little twists in the end, and i LOVe those:) Its a romantic, comedy, drama, etc. all in one. WATCH IT!

this movie was funny but it was also disturbing...why would you want to put your family on pause in the first place....it shouldnt have taken to the end of the movie to realize that you have nothing because he really didnt care...it was kinda funny how when they were having dinner he just fast forwarded through it but it was sad that he just didnt' care that much to give his family some of his time

This seemed to be another Christmas Carol remake of going back and changing the decisions you make. I definately wish that to be possible, but it has been done with so many variations that the was nothing original to choose from but the leftovers. Of course I don't mean actors, Christopher Walken presented himself with greatness and Adam Sandler was having a great time and a lot of fun.

Adam Sandler in the movie Click. I think any movie he is in automatically is going to be halarious, and this was one of them. This movie made me laugh so much, from all the things he did with that remote. Pausing, fowarding time, even slow motion. One thing i did not expect from this movie is that it made me cry at the end. Loved it.

Click was a great overall movie. There are parts that are a little to grown up for kids, but otherwise my kids loved it. It has a great overall story of not wanting to miss anything in life. Adam Sandler delivered a great performance in a movie that teaches us not to take life for granted. I loved that lesson.
