My skin has really been a challenge lately. It is a strange combination of dry, scaly skin that is scattered throughout with little zits and whiteheads. I've switched from my usual philosophy and LUSH moisturizers to the oil-free anti-acne products that I haven't had to use since I was a teenager. On a recent trip to Target I picked up both of the Clean & Clear SOFT Oil-Free Moisturizers: the "day" and "night" versions.
The Clean & Clear NIGHT Moisturizer comes in a 4 fluid ounce bottle with a pump-dispenser. You are supposed to apply it to clean face and neck in the evening. This product contains oil-free moisturizers, fruit acids to clarify skin and clear pores, and white tea which provides antioxidant protection. There is a warning hidden underneath the description label: because this NIGHT Moisturizer contains alpha-hydroxy acids, you should use sunscreen and limit your exposure to sunlight for up to a week after use.
I've been using this night moisturizer off and on over the past few weeks. It isn't that I don't like it or don't want to use it, but I'm not in the habit of using a product like this each night before bed so, frankly, I often forget to apply it! I like the fact that you only need a small amount of this product to cover skin. My $8 bottle is still more than half-full, so I think the price is very reasonable.
I have noticed that the troublesome patches on my face look clearer and less red mornings after I've used Clean & Clear NIGHT Oil-Free Moisturizer. I really need to make more of an effort to consistently use this moisturizer each evening because it definitely improves the condition of my tempermental combination skin. Recommended!
