I love the Clean & Clear Morning Burst regular variety and I picked up the shine control version on accident one time. I liked it just the same as I like the regular version! It had a great invigorating scrub that is great at waking you up in the morning. It did not have the citrus scent, but it still had a pleasant scent that made it refreshing for waking up. I do not have shiny skin really ever, so I cannot attest to how well it prevented or removed shininess. I can say though that while using this I never had those rare occasions where I did get a shiny nose! This soap really did a great job of getting all the dead skin, dirt, and debris off of my face also. I sometimes used it at night when I was in a rush and it was also great at removing makeup in addition to all the other grime. The bottle is really easy to use and I love that it sits upside down so that all the solution is always close to the opening rather than having to wait for it to slowly come down the tube. This is a great product and everyone should give it a try!

This is one of my favorite facial cleansers. The Clean & Clear Morning Burst Shine Scrub is top notch compared to it's competition, and it is priced much lower than those cleansers. What I love about this product is that it actually does what it claims. It cleans pores, and exfoliates the skin while doing it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who suffers from frequent acne, or gets excessive grease on the skin. This facial cleaner also has a very pleasant "grass" smell that isn't overbearing. This product is fairly thick and will stay put on your face until you rinse it away, and it leaves your face tingly. Overall this is a great product for it's price. I have used it off and on for years, and will continue to do so. Effectiveness Extremely effective. I would highly recommend it for anyone who gets excessive oil and grease build up on their face. Ease of Application Super easy to apply, and it lasts for a long time. Scent Unique, but pleasant "grassy" smell.

I am a very big fan of Clean & Clear. I trust the brand and its product. Unfortunately, I was extremely unhappy with the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Scrub. I was excited about the lemon grass qualities of this product, hoping my skin would feel invigorated after use. This did not happen. This facial cleanser is simply good for scrubbing and scrubbing only. You do get a good value with this product as the tube of cleanser seems to last forever. The Clean & Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Scrub did not protect my skin from acne, there was not control. The scrub did make my face feel clean and temporarily helped with my oily complexion, but that was all got from this facial cleanser. I probably would not recommend this cleanser as I, myself, would not purchase it again. There are better shine control acne cleansers on the market that would definitely be more effective.

Overall, this is a great product. It exfoliates my skin really well; it removes all the dead skin and makes my skin look fresh and alive. However, I don't think this product doesn't anything for "shine control" like it claims. I have fairly oily skin... nothing extreme, but my skin does get oily throughout the day. After using this scrub, I didn't see any difference whatsoever in my skin's "shine" throughout the day. So, it's hard for me to review this product. While it's an amazing exfoliating product, it doesn't do what it claims to in the title and on the bottle. However, I will continue to repurchase this scrub. It makes my skin look amazing, fresh, and awake. While it doesn't help me get rid of any of my blackheads, I think that it helps prevent any new ones from forming. Surprisingly, I also like using this product for removing my makeup! I would never have guessed that it would work as well as it does for that purpose!

This particular scrub is part of the morning burst line which I have found to be a bit more energizing in that they have a very powerful citrus smell. This one gives your skin a slight tingle making it feel more awake and the scent of citrus perks you up. It's kind of a dual affect in that two senses are being played (your sense of smell and your skin/touch). This has the bursting beads that all the morning burst cleansers have but that isn't what really does it for me with this product. It has a light scrubbing that I really enjoy. It isn't quite strong enough to pull the stubborn blackheads from my nose or chin but it did help with keeping acne toned down and keeping more blackheads from forming. The exfoliation action helped to give my skin a better glow. It also has an anti-shine agent to it but for me I didn't notice much as far as that goes. It did leave my skin feeling tighter and dryer but it wasn't unbearable. I can say I wouldn't recommend this for every single day use. The scrub part of it makes it more suitable for use every three days or so In my case. Plus the light drying affect kind of accumulates when you use this two or three days in a row. Overall, it has a pleasant perky scent that is citrusy and refreshing. It perks your skin up with a light tingling. It also helps fight acne but not much on blackheads. The scrub action pulls out dirt and gives you a good cell turnover. I recommend this for use 2xs a week, probably best at night because it did give my face a little flush--which isn't what you want right before you go to school or an interview. Effectiveness Really wakes the skin up and helps exfoliate lightly. I enjoy this scrub. It doesn't help blackheads as much as I like but for regular acne and acne control it is quite affective. Ease of Application It is very easy to apply but I've noticed if you use it maybe three times a week it kind of takes some skin off of your finger tips. Scent Has a wonderful citrusy scent that is awakening but doesn't stay on skin. Great for the man in my life and for me!

I use this scrub on occasion in the morning before work to give me a little jolt to wake up better. I also like to use it to scrub off layers of dry and dead skin that my regular cleanser does not get rid of. The beads in this facial scrub are really good at getting into my pores and peeling away layers of dead skin that just collect on the surface of my face. Also, it is good for sensitive, which is a problem from which I suffer. Some facial scrubs are too rough on my skin and this is not a problem that I have with Clean and Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Scrub. This scrub really does help with shine control on my skin, as well. My face sometimes feels oily and looks shiny by the end of the day, but when I use this scrub, I notice a big difference in that shininess. I would recommend this scrub to anyone who has trouble controlling oiliness and shin on their skin and who likes to have a nice wake up in the morning.

I gave this product a 9 because I really like it. I love this product. I used it every day for several months and my face stayed clear and was much brighter. Shortly after I ran out I started breaking out all over again. So for me this is a product I must have. I used this product twice a day and it really helps my face stay nice and clean. Effectiveness I have oily skin and it made my skin feel refreshed and much tighter. I could actually 'Feel' it working. Great way to start the day AND great before bed! However, I will say that when I used it around my nose it did tend to dry out slightly. So I just limited my use in that area. Ease of Application I loved the morning burst. it was so refreshing in the morning and made my eyes look bright and awake. It is very easy to use. Scent I love the unique gel cleanser with Vitamin C and Ginseng that wake you up with a fresh citrus scent and soft BURSTING BEADS with energy and vitamins.

These clean and clear morning burst oil absorbing sheets works wonders on my face. I wear a lot of foundation so my face gets very oily very fast. I always get oily on my nose and cheeks. I take these sheets with me in my purse everywhere I go and they absorb all the oil from my face instantly. My face feels so much better like if I powdered my face again but I didn't these oil absorbing sheets did the magic. After I'm done using the sheet for my face I look at it and on there is a lot of oil. It amazes me on how much it can absorb and make your face look refreshed and soft. When the oil gets abosorbed then the pores get smaller and you will get fewer breakouts. I will always use these because they work and all I use is one a day so they last me a long time. I never have to put on more makeup through out my day. It doesn't remove my makeup my makeup still stays and that's what I love about these. I would recommend these to anybody its good for all face types because everyones face gets oily from time to time.

So..this product. I started using it because it seems to be made specifically for oily skin, which I have. It's cheap and available at most pharmacy stores and walmart and target. It's also a scrub and I've learned that my skin does really well with exfoliating products. Overall, it is a great product. I like the fresh feeling it leaves on my face. The oiliest parts of my face are my nose, forehead and cheeks. I also have big pores around my cheek area. This product helped tame the oiliness and also minimized my pores. That's a plus. It is gentle enough to use everyday. I use it twice a day with no problem. I also recommended it to my sisters and they love it. One of my sisters has extremely oily skin due to her hair products that get on her face from her bangs. Her breakouts are less frequent and the oiliness subsided. Oh and it does not leave your skin dry. Great product! Very reliable and effective. Great smell too.

Nothing is more important to me than having a great complexion on my face. I have to rely on good products that will not cost me an arm and a leg. I thing clean and clear does a perfect job. I feel so fresh and invigorated after washing my face. It does not dry out my face like other products do. I can rely on this product and know that it will not take me to the bank in the long run.
