I picked up a tube of **Clean & Clear Finishes Mattifying Cleanser **due to the fact that it promised to control my shiny skin all day long. Believe me, I have come across a fair share of cleansers that promised the same thing, and sadly for me, the only thing that works on my skin is LaMer, an expensive toner that I must use daily in order to keep shine at bay. This toner though, is way too pricey to be stocking up on regularly, so on the side I am always seeking out the latest and greatest promises to keep my normally shiny skin, looking flat, flawless, and perfect. This is basically why I ended up coughing up the dough on Clean & Clear Finishes Mattifying Cleanser. **My Use:** I went ahead and used Clean & Clear Finishes Mattifying Cleanser as I would any ordinary cleanser. I first wet the skin then squeezed some of the cleanser out into my hands, and began to spread it and rub it into my face. The scent is barely there, but what I do get is clean, and fresh. There were no micro-beads or slightly abrasive flakes in the cleanser which was a mild disappointment, because even after rinsing my skin did not feel as clean as it should have. **Results:** Although I was not too thrilled with the cleansing power, and the lack of a clean feeling I was impressed with how well this cleanser worked as far as keeping my skin shine free. The last of shine free skin was not all day, but it was definitely half of the day, which is really good compared to other shine free promises I have gotten from competitor cleansers and lotions. All in all, they all promise the same thing, shine free skin, but only a small handful of those work as promised, and Clean & Clear Finishes Mattifying Cleanser is definitely one of those cleansers that does what it says it is going to do.
