During key 'periods' of the month (pun intended), I get occassional acne. It is sooo irritating. I feel like I am a teenager all over again.
To combat the acne, a friend recommended that I try Clean and Clear. Apparently, you can buy the products at any drug store for really inexpensive rates and they work! So, when on a recent visit to Target, I picked up some Clean and Clear cleanser. Next to it, for $5.99 was Clean and Clear Morning Burst. It was citrus flavor with beads in it. The packaging and price tag sucked me in so I bought it. Looked good. Let's try it!
I was soooo pleasantly suprised after a week of usage. I am accustomed to spending tons of money on facial products and being disappointed that a $40 cleanser or moisturizer doesnt work! Sigh. But, alas, the cheap product did me well!! Jolie, soooo foolish.
After a week of use, my skin felt a lot cleaner. (is that possible?)
So, what did I like about the Clean and Clear Morning Burst?
First off, it smells good--so I dont mind putting it on my face. (I bought the citrus one)
Secondly, the gel like feel with small, bursting beads,is very gentle and according to the package, good for all skin types. (I would consider mine a combo skin type) It does not say on the packaging that it helps with acne, so dont plan on this helping on that front. Overall, it is refreshing.
Clean and Clear morning burst is not grainy or harsh like other exfoliants. It doesnt dry you out. It is so gentle, that they claim you can use it daily. Everything I have read says dont exfoliate more than 3 times a week, so I stick to that general rule of thumb.
Bottom line, Clean and Clear Morning Burst, left my skin feeling soft and smooth. And, it made me feel like 17 again. (oh, wait, that was my acne!)
