On My Way Home is the the third and, by some accounts, best album by American Idol Season 2 runner-up Clay Aiken. He may have been the runner up to Ruben Studdard 5 years ago, but he has far surpassed the victor in sales and popularity since then. That's because many consider him "Still the Purest Male Voice" in pop music today and because "There's a magic in Clay when he sings live in front of an audience, something magical in the way he connects." On My Way Home shows us why he has out sold every male graduate of American Idol with ballads "Some of it is hauntingly beautiful" and lively pop ditties, including the title track which was written by One Republic front man Ryan Tedder. Clay Aiken "On My Way Here" If you really enjoy good music and a good voice to go along with it, I think everyone will enjoy this cd if you give it a chance. The ballads are beautiful and the uptempo songs are a real treat because there is a good voice to go along with them. There really is a little taste for everyone no matter what you prefer. Its hard to sit still during Ashes,Falling, Where I Draw the Line and I love As Long As We're Here. The musicians are second to none and yet they don't overpower the singer. This cd is a treat for everyone. Give it a try.
