As the fall season approaches, the symptoms of allergies are quickly running in my household. The first product I thought of was an antihistamine. Remembering all the commercials I've seen, I went to the pharmacy and picked up Claritin. This product seems to clear up all post-nasal drip and rid me of my itchy, watery eyes that come from these allergies. It saves me from having to stay up at night from coughing. I did not have any side effects while using this over-the-counter medication. Other over-the-counter antihistamines I have tried in the past caused me to be drowsy, but Claritin allowed me to function just fine throughout the day. However, one time while I let it linger in my mouth while getting water to take it with, it did give me a very bad taste. After a couple of sips of water, the taste was gone. The tablets are very small and do not get stuck in your throat like most larger pills that you see over-the-counter. Overall, this was a very good product for seasonal allergy symptom relief.
